Scorpions sting 1M+ people a year and kill 3,000+ • From a 35-page prompt, Claude produced 318K+ designs in 64 hours and picked the best for lab testing • The wet lab quoted $85K for 250 samples, which they paid with an American Express • 17 of 211 designs bound, covering 4 of 5 toxins, but nobody has tested yet whether they actually block the toxins @theojaffee: "This is a signal of the future, that it took them a relatively small amount of time to actually select designs in virtual space. But in order to actually implement them in the real world, it took them like 40 days. Biology is slow."
