This is looking to scratch the itches many of us share. I love me a good game in this genre. Also, Mike's a gem.
Also, I suddenly saw some old clients pinging my DMs for potential overlay updates. Seems like rumors about StreamElements are going down.
Might be opening up a slot or two for developing custom overlays again. *nods*
An old story.
Back before affiliates existed, I used to dedicate 2 of my partner emotes to other content creators I believed could be partnered, to get their own emotes. These emotes helped them to grow and build communities, eventually partnering by their own merits.
So to other content creators of any title, be it partner, affiliate, creator, or viewer. I hope your tools help you create good experiences, and hopefully provide you the ability to grow whatever you envision to create.
In all times in Twitch, those tools can make memories. GL
After almost a decade of contemplation on this topic. My advice is if you feel frustrated by this announcement, you put more value into the title/privileges than the effort/growth.
Honestly, that's not a problem. It's an humble opportunity to look within and grow even more.
