The company says it's also in active talks with at least two of the "Magnificent 7" tech giants and three of the top 10 data center builders.

The problem it's going after: AI data centers need dedicated power, and the grid can't deliver it fast enough. American Fusion is developing Texatron™, its fusion energy platform, to supply that power right where it's used. The technology is still in development and testing.

Why is now the right time for you to step into the CEO role?
- American Fusion’s next phase requires close coordination between our technology development, testing, financing and commercial strategy. Having been directly involved in building Kepler Fusion, I believe this is the right time for me to take responsibility for bringing those efforts together across the public company.
- My priority as Chairman and CEO is to give our team clear direction, the resources to execute and accountability for measurable progress. We have an ambitious vision, and my job is to translate that vision into achievable milestones.
What does this change mean for American Fusion and for the company's broader ambitions?
- Our ambition is to build American Fusion into a business capable of delivering dependable fusion power, with Texatron at the center of that effort.
- That requires more than developing the technology. We also need independent validation, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, a disciplined capital strategy and strong relationships with prospective customers. Our Power-as-a-Service model is central to that vision: ultimately, we want to deliver electricity through long-term customer relationships.
Looking ahead, what are you most excited about, and what should investors and people following American Fusion expect?
- What excites me most is the opportunity to bring our engineering work closer to practical applications. Data centers and other large electricity users give us a clear commercial focus as we advance development.
- People following American Fusion should expect us to communicate progress against concrete milestones: testing and technical review, facility development, engineering improvements, financing and prospective customer relationships. We will be clear about what has been demonstrated, what remains under evaluation and what comes next.
- There is substantial work ahead. I’m excited to lead that work, support our team and build shareholder confidence through results.
