De Zerbi: "It's like we're all crying and relegated. No, not yet. We have to die on the pitch and it's two points [above]. It's not the best moment, it's a tough moment, but the losers cry. They think negatively. (contd)

Some moments are bigger than football ❤️ Back after weeks out, our skipper returned yesterday — and marked it with a goal off the bench and a celebration that said it all. This club is unity. This club is family. Proud of you, Skipper 🔴⚪️ 📸 Jaz #ElyCityFC #UpTheRobins

77; GOAL FOR ELY… ⚽️ And it’s the skipper, great looping corner into the box, PARTRIDGE rises above everyone and loops a header into the far corner. 4-2 and some breathing space..

Need a goal in the big game like that & Lego head doesn’t even bother bringing Eze on, really poor management imo. 🤨

This window has been a catastrophe at times… but there is no denying that Xavi Simons looks like one hell of a signing, excited to see him play, more needed though… 🤔 #COYS

It really can be that simple. It’s 11 against 11 at the end of the day. Match up & don’t let your man beat you. Really liking how switched on Thomas Frank is 👍🏻

Tottenham prepared an asymmetrical defensive shape in order to go man-to-man against City's own asymmetrical build up shape.

Tottenham have held initial discussions with Brentford about a deal for Bryan Mbeumo. Spurs are interested in Mbeumo and Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo - both are players they admire. Mbeumo is understood to be more intrigued by a move to Tottenham now that Thomas Frank has become their head coach. Spurs have received encouragement about a potential deal now that the Dane has made the switch to North London [@MichaelBridge_ / @SkySportsLyall]
