New reissue of ‘Ample Destruction’. I don’t know exactly how many times it’s been reissued but I think it’s closed to 30 times now. It’s my job to make sure it’s always available, hence all the reissues. This one is from High Roller Records, who have done most of the Ample reissues. They do a quality job with sound, cover and overall presentation. This just came out.

When I was a kid I’d get gear in the mail, rip open that box, then be playing on it within a minute. Times sure have changed as an old guy. I’ve got a Wilson wah sitting here that was delivered 3 weeks ago. I hope to plug it in for the first time tommorow.

Very sad to hear about Angry Anderson dying. I’m a big Rose Tattoo fan. I love his vocals, his stage presence and his attitude. And if he couldn’t get any cooler - he was in a Mad Max film. There are very few famous people I wanted to meet. It’s just not my thing. But I did want to meet Angry, I just never had the chance. Rest In Peace Angry Anderson.

We had a FANTASTIC time it Italy! Fantastic people, so warm and welcoming. The gig was top notch! Great venue, crowd, etc. Everything was excellent.

Photo session for my guitars this weekend. I’m going to have to bust out a tape measure and do some math to see if I need to rent a van.

What wah pedal can get this tone (starts about 15 seconds in)? I believe it’s a Tycobrahe on the recording, but good luck finding one of those… I’ve tried Dunlop and Morley.
