Officiating aside, it is insane that the Vols played 8 straight games with no bye, capped off by a road game at SC immediately after the third Saturday in October (with SC coming off a bye).
We have to discuss ESPN’s management of their SEC deal. The deal itself was brilliant, they locked down the SEC, and they got Chris Fowler, Joe Tess, and Kirk Herbstreit.
However, what ths hell are they doing beyond those guys? Greg McElroy for color? Wes Durham/Dusty Dvoracek as the number two? Are they actively trying to run off viewers?
I was fully on board with the legalization of sports betting when the flood gates opened. Shortly thereafter, I was totally convinced it was a mistake because of the *possibility* of skullduggery and rigging of games.
The day has come where that fear has come to reality. UT-SC.
