Xabi Alonso: "It’s part of the business; you need to deal with mistakes and we keep confidence in Mike and he will be in goal against Liverpool. We win and we lose together and it’s part of the job to deal with mistakes, myself as well as everyone.🥶 "We support Mike and Geo (Quenda) as well, the guys starting their first [Premier League] games. He will want to prove he can do better - and we also have to show that." bbc.co.uk/sport/football… @NizaarKinsella #CFC

On the road again. 🛣️ It’s MATCHDAY 🔥💙 #CFCW #CFC

FACT 💯 Let’s not be too quick to judge Mike Penders! 💙🧤 Even our greatest goalkeeper of all time PETR ČECH had a rough start — own goal vs Everton in a 3-3 draw — before becoming a Chelsea LEGEND. 👏 Penders deserves patience, support and the opportunity to learn from his mistakes. One difficult game vs Tottenham should NOT define his future at Chelsea. Trust the process. He is 21! Future #1 in making! 🧤💙 #CFC #ChelseaTickets

Missing Chavarría against Tottenham. Things could be different maybe. Just a thought. 💙🥶 Up The Chels 💙💙💙 #Cfc #Chelsea

Surprise look from Emiliano Martinez after Mike Penders scored an owned goal. But Mike Penders is just 21. And that was his Premier League debut on such a wet rainy evening. 🥶🥶🌩 We Move on ok. Keep The Blue Flag Flying High. #CTID #CFC

🚨🔵 Daniel Sturridge says Welbeck should have started: "I think the manager got it wrong in terms of playing Quenda. I think the way in which they have played in the last couple of weeks, if Joao Pedro doesn't start, then the formation changes. "For Rogers and for Palmer, it has an impact on their natural way of playing, having a focal point.  "Is he as fast? No but he could've come in and done a job. Welbeck should've started today, it would've let the team be what they have been. "[Nicolas] Jackson is flying at the moment, should they have kept him?" (@SkySports) #CFC

Good night Blues Army. Weekend destruction mood on 😔 We Move on to the next Match ok. We Are CHELSEA TILL WE DIE 💙🥶 #CFC

🗣️ Xabi Alonso on the loss against Tottenham: "We are all disappointed with the result, with the performance collectively and individually we were not at our best level.” #CFC |[@SkySports]

Cesar Azpilicueta 🐐 Thank you for your support, but we fail to win this Derby. 😔 #CFC
