Had half my production stack and AI services sitting on Railway.
When customer environment variables are compromised, you don’t wait for a detailed post-mortem. You rotate everything immediately: LLM keys, database tokens, third-party auth.
Checked the billing spikes, verified access logs—thankfully dodged the bullet. Everything is clean.
The biggest vulnerability in the modern AI stack will always be secret management. Stay paranoid out there.
In software architecture, the defender must be right 100% of the time across thousands of endpoints and dependencies.
The attacker only needs you to be careless once. On a Friday afternoon. In a single line of configuration.
The goal isn’t to keep them out forever. The goal is to make sure that when they get in, there’s nothing left to steal.
Nobody talks about the quiet depression that follows a massive win.
You chase a goal for so long that it becomes your identity. When you finally hit it, you don't feel complete—you feel unemployed by your own ambition.
We don't crave the destination. We crave the tension of the pursuit.
“What was the Sirens’ song?”
“It told you what you most want is what you most can’t have. And what you most can’t have is what you already had and lost. It was the song of all the promises I failed to keep.”
The Sirens don’t lure men with lust. They destroy you with your own regrets.
The hardest thing to survive isn’t shipwreck, it’s looking in the mirror.
Mathematics and code offer something the physical world constantly denies us: absolute truth.
A proof is complete or it isn’t. An equation balances or it doesn't. A function executes or throws an error. There is a sacred peace in axioms—no hidden agendas, no emotional noise, no room for political compromise.
Then you step back into reality. Markets, negotiations, human psychology—it’s all friction, gray zones, and irrationality.
Maybe our obsession with pure logic isn’t about escaping the world. It’s about building an inner anchor sharp enough to survive its chaos.
We train our minds to anticipate catastrophe so that reality has no power to wound us. Marcus Aurelius taught that we must prepare every morning for the deceitful, the arrogant, the untrustworthy.
It works. In business, paranoia is resilience. It keeps the structure standing when the storm hits.
But taken into personal life, it turns every relationship into a risk assessment.
To be genuinely alive, you have to accept the possibility of total ruin. You have to let someone drop the glass.
“Gambling your life away for love,” as Rumi put it, feels completely insane to a mind built on error-handling and fail-safes. Code is safe because it is soulless; it has no hidden motives, no unkept promises. It executes what is written.
Sometimes I wonder if my drive for control built a fortress that ended up keeping out the very life I was trying to protect.
Huge shoutout to @expo for the excellent work. Building React Native apps and getting them deployed is so much simpler thanks to what you’ve built. Really appreciate how easy you’ve made the whole process.
Vibe coding is the fastest way to ship an app.
It’s also the fastest way to ship an open database.🤣
My recent audits of AI-built apps keep finding the same things:
• no real auth
• hardcoded API keys
• broken access control
• secrets sitting in the frontend
The code looks clean.
The security often isn’t.
Who actually reviews what their AI writes before going live ? You can use AI to do the Basic Security Checks for you.
We’re living it right now , the years that decide everything. Someday we’ll look back and know: that was the turning point, for better or worse.
History rarely announces itself with sirens or headlines. It moves quietly, in the accumulation of small choices a policy signed without fanfare, a technology released before anyone fully understood its weight, a decision made in someone’s kitchen that ripples further than they could have imagined. We tend to look for the moment, the single event we can point to and say “there, that’s when it changed.” But turning points are rarely singular. They’re built from thousands of ordinary days that only become extraordinary in hindsight.
What makes this harder and stranger is that we’re inside it while it’s happening.
We don’t get the clarity of distance. We can’t yet know which of today’s headlines will matter in fifty years and which will be forgotten by next week. That uncertainty is uncomfortable, but it’s also the only honest place to stand. Every generation that came before us felt this same vertigo, staring at their present without a map, hoping they were choosing wisely.
Just read Suleyman’s Coming Wave and Dario Amodei’s essay on where AI could take us.
A crazy decade: we’re not drifting toward the future, we’re choosing it. One path leads to real catastrophe. The other would be like Utopia — cured diseases, abundance just a sci-fi life.
Hi everyone 👋

If top researchers like Hubinger, Hinton & Bengio warn that reasoning scales exponentially while alignment crawls - mathematically speaking, the equation converges to catastrophe.
Still feeding zero real data to AI models. They’d blackmail me in a heartbeat 😂
AI doesn't wait.
Started shifting my business from white → blue collar.
Office automation is coming – physical skills are the new premium.
What a ridiculous, beautiful time to be a Software Developer :
• Cursor/Claude basically your co-founder now
• One determined person ships what used to need entire product teams
• "Vibe coding" isn't a joke anymore—it's how things get built
Glorious. Terrifying. Wild.
AI’s future is electrifying: robots building cities, models curing cancer via simulation, us thinking in real-time with AI. Wilder than sci-fi—and it starts now! 🚀 #AI #FutureOfWork
AI’s future: from pattern-matching to first-principles reasoning. By 2028, models will simulate physics, verify proofs, and co-design with us—not just autocomplete. Open weights + verifiable compute = augmented cognition, not oracles. #AI
Deepest condolences to Charlie Kirk's family. While I didn't share all his views, I respected his tireless effort and outspoken commitment to what he believed was right. It's tragic that people are shot for their opinions, right in the heart of America. RIP. #CharlieKirk #RIP
History in the making: when allies clash. Musk vs. Trump — two of the most powerful men alive. Time to sell my $TSLA stock? #ElonMusk #DonaldTrump #PowerPlay
