On average, Boomers are getting paid more from Social Security than they “paid into it.” A lot more. Like double, and that’s counting inflation and interest. In raw dollars, they’ll get four to seven times what they paid in. So what about this compromise, to at least stave off insolvency and save billions: you get back what you paid in, but no more. Young families won’t be forced to finance a 250 percent return on your “investment.” That seems extremely reasonable, doesn’t it? It doesn’t go nearly as far as I would like. But it’s a very fair compromise. It completely negates any claim that you didn’t get the money back that you “paid in.” And yet I suspect that this comprise will not be satisfactory. Why is that? Because this debate actually has nothing to do with “getting back what you paid in.” The REAL demand is for a lot more than that.

The year is 2040. The Republicans nominate an ooga booga from Papua New Guinea who speaks in primitive barks and clicks to govern the last remaining red state of Nebraska. This will obviously prove that the left are the REAL anti-AAPI racists.
"Hey, remember when the worst we had was that smelly guy in Ohio and the Florida guy who spoke in hibbity-jibbity English, but at least we could follow what he was saying? LOL, those were the good old days!"
This shit has to stop.

The Heritage American debate isn’t just about severing your connection to the American past.
The more sinister idea is that what you do today carries no inheritance forward.
Serve your country. Build something. Sacrifice. Endure. Die for it.
Then be told your descendants have no special claim to your story, no right to take pride in your sacrifice, no deeper connection because of what you gave.
Once you convince a people that inheritance, lineage, and posterity mean nothing, you’ve weakened one of the oldest reasons men sacrifice for a future they’ll never live to see.
That is fertile ground for any system that wants loyalty transferred from family and inheritance to the state.
Boomers kind of view FDR the same way. No amount of evidence you show them can change their mind, it's like trying to have a conversation with the TV. To them, being a "patriotic leader" means:
1. That president/leader was there when something bad happened
2. He said flowery things about Proposition America
3. He "did something" (started a war).
That's it. That's their standard.

George Bush has always been sold as a man who met the moment. Even some of his haters describe him that way. “I didn’t like him, but he was great after 9/11.”
You can’t handle that moment worse than George Bush handled it. 20 years of war and Muslim calls to prayer in America.
Since everyone is posting their list, here's my ranking of US Presidents. Only categories that matter to me:
Is their foreign policy America First
Did they follow the Constitution
As if there was any doubt what this war was always about from the start:
I received warm congratulations for the people of Ukraine from Prime Minister @netanyahu of Israel. Our countries share deep bonds – between our people in the first place, but also in the economy, culture, and other areas. It is therefore good to hear of Israel’s desire to strengthen these existing ties. We count on working fruitfully together to bring about more security.

When I hear Americans talk about the Rust Belt it unfortunately reminds me that a lot of what ruined America was the fault of Republicans taking revenge on Labour Unions and outsourcing instead of just making an explicitly Right Wing Labour movement
Notice how everything that was "stolen" is just trinkets.

African apologists will blame their woes on "corrupt leadership" yet the only uncorrupted functioning states (the white ruled ones) were destroyed by external and internal actors.
There are 54 African countries. They didnt all achieve independence at the same time, and some leaders lasted longer than others, but for arguments sake let's say they've been independent for 60 years, average leader in office for about ten years - thats over 300 leaders since independence.
The only black leader who was even remotely competent was Banda of Malawi. You can't try something 300 times and blame corruption every time the state falls apart. It's not going to work the 301st time you try.
The only time any of these places functioned was when they had white leaders.

Private equity buyout firms enshittify everything they buy. But most people don't really understand why. It's not because some guy at the top orders "make everything more expensive and worse." It's because every key employee is suddenly made to report every two weeks on "metrics," and be rewarded or punished as a result. The only metric which matters is "how can I show I have increased EBITDA so my masters know they can sell this dog quickly for a 4X multiple?" And the only way to increase EBITDA quickly, for almost any employee, is to slash expenses, that is, quality, or to raise prices. Any long-term investment in customer satisfaction is therefore anathema (with rare exceptions). And, of course, any other goal, such as retaining long-time employees or contributing to the community, is also anathema.

The government literally did buy every Boomer a house. Boomers would've all lost their houses during Covid or the Great Recession if the "free market" had been allowed to play out. Instead the govt stole 40 TRILLION DOLLARS from the future and spent it propping up Boomers' home equity. Gen Z will still be paying off the houses the govt bought the Boomers when they're 90.

I'm not a fan of the concept of a "refugee" to begin with, but if we're going to play this game, the definition should be limited to women and children.
Not young men.
These are likely the refuse that Morocco doesn't want to deal with (a la Castro's prison dumps), but let's play along...
If these men left their families behind for a better life, doesn't that make them cowards? If you're a man, and your home is in a truly dire situation, wouldn't you send your wife and children to a better country if the opportunity was there? Why would you yourself go and leave your family behind?
However you choose to frame this refugee situation, there is no scenario where these animals do not look like cowardly, immoral, degenerate scum.

"According to local outlet KAAL, the judge said that jurors would be deciding whether the alleged use of “a slur towards the child should be considered “fighting words”…defined as words targeted at a person that would cause them to react violently”."
So this encompasses every word in the English language since ANYTHING you say to blacks can cause them to react violently.
