Wow! Make Amy Acton governor. “I am making a promise to Ohioans...that no one in my state will ever, ever be invisible to me."

Keep these numbers in mind about Rob Bresnahan's broken promises to NEPA: He voted to cut $1 trillion from Medicaid. He voted 3x to block the release of Epstein Files for victims who still don't have justice. He voted 6x to keep the Iran War going and costs rising. He voted 8x to support tariffs that have done nothing but hurt us.

Due to the recent attack ads in Ohio by the Ramaswamy campaign I am donating the maximum allowable by law to Amy Acton. I’m a life long Republican I don’t know @amyactonoh or her policies and frankly I don’t care. Some things are bigger than party.

Major props to the folks at Fifty Plus One for doing this digging, this is what you want responsible aggregators to look like
We were investigating Wedgewood for faking their data and emailed them for comment this morning, ahead of publishing the findings tomorrow. They are trying to cover up their fraud with the "we were doing a social experiment" excuse. Full story here: blog.fiftyplusone.news/p/fif…

As one of the candidates featured in these polls - the infamous one in late June that showed me plummeting into single digits (which was at odds with our internals) - here's the impact of this "experiment" - Donations dried up - Volunteers were devastated and pleading for guidance on what to do - Reporters hounded me with calls to drop out Sure, a point was proven. Polling is broken. But tens of thousands of people poured their hearts, time, energy, hard-earned money into something they believed in - for a year-and-a-half, and it was treated like a game. Our volunteers gave their all. And then some. I felt like I had let so many of them down. To be extremely clear, Michigan Democrats are locked in to beat Mike Rogers. We WILL send @AbdulElSayed to the US Senate. But between crap like this, endless fundraising texts that drive supporters away with spammy fake deadlines and trash "match" claims, scam PACs run rampant for firms to grift without actually supporting candidates, undisclosed content creators pushing content out either misrepresenting themselves as residents of states they don't live in or hiding whether they were paid and by who so they could make a buck, and the tidal wave of dark money ads -- I hope Democrats are ready to blow up the system with campaign finance and transparency reforms. Trust is already at an all-time low. We don't get out of this mess without rebuilding trust. And media - who loves to ride the drama of a pollercoaster - needs to take a hard look at what's legitimate and what's not. If this teaches us anything - DON'T GET COMPLACENT AND DON'T TRUST THE POLLS. LOCK IN. SIGN UP FOR A CANVASSING SHIFT. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.

Smart way to play this
As a man of faith, I pray every day. Faith is a thing there’s just too little of in Washington.

Across Northeastern Pennsylvania, folks are tired of the corruption in DC — and of the enablers like Rob Bresnahan, who is raising costs at home while he enriches himself. In 16 days, we're going to put a check on the chaos, cruelty, and corruption — and send @PaigeGCognetti to Congress.

It's just hard to square the circle that inflation has destroyed successive presidencies but also the most popular policies in both parties are obviously inflationary ...
The things we really need should be made by American workers – not in some overseas factory. That’s exactly what President Trump and this administration have been fighting for.

Rob Bresnahan dumped Medicaid provider stocks days before voting to gut our health care and rip away funding from rural hospitals. I'll always stand up for our health care workers and patients, and I’ll work with anyone to make sure our hospitals have the funding they need.

I am *very* excited to read this - we really need to embrace a mindset of a) we have agency to make the world better, b) bad things in the world are not a reflection of our own complicity, and c) we can find joy in our own lives even when the outside world seems dark!
There are real limits to what we can accomplish in a world where people believe nothing they do really matters. My book (!) is about how we wound up in a place where millions of people feel like spectators in their own lives. And how we course correct. Because we can.

I’ve had a front-row seat to the thought & rigor behind my wife @rcobooth's forthcoming book. It goes past the usual suspects (phones, polarization) to what’s underneath – and how we build social, political, and cultural change together. Read it, argue with it, preorder it here:
