Cats with a tough night in the circle (below 40%) and some costly turnovers that led to either goals for Ottawa or killed plays for Florida. Those were two of the main issues Maurice pointed to after tonight’s loss.

Maurice: "I don't think we ever got to [our game]. We were behind the play in the first. We just lost so many faceoffs. The second period, we spent too much time in the penalty box. The defining feature of our game is our forecheck. I don't think we ever got to it."

Brady on turning the page to Pittsburgh: "It's over and done with. Disappointed with the outcome, but it's a really big test tomorrow, really challenging. You've got one of the greatest to ever do it stepping on the ice tomorrow."

Hathaway on what the #FlaPanthers can take from tonight's loss.

Forsling: "We didn't like our game tonight, and I think everyone's hungry for the next one tomorrow."
