UPDATE: Both Bellefonte Police and PA State Police tell us they have no additional information on the situation at Centre County Elections Office. People have been cleared from the office because police on scene told us someone was trying to “disrupt the election.”

As of 5:30 pm, all of the ballots from the initial batch of mail in ballots in the warehouse have been removed from their inner envelopes. A small group of county workers are now processing mail in ballots that have been received today. Scanning and tabulation of ballots continues. Results will not be posted until after 8:00 PM.

Follow up to emphasize the amazingness of @Allegheny_Co. It may be 2nd largest county w less total registered voters behind Philly, but @Allegheny_Co has LARGEST PA MAIL IN BALLOT RETURNS @ 222,481. That’s about a 1/4 of total registered voters there.
