An early update on GD. We’ve seen a phenomenal response in the first few hours since launching Glacier Drop – with close to 5000 ecosystem members who have successfully claimed over 80M NIGHT tokens. We couldn’t be more thrilled to see the level of community participation and support so early into the claim phase – this is just the beginning. As with all new product launches, there are some challenges. We have noted feedback on the inability to use Ledger for ADA claims and some discussion around ways in which you can "hack" a signature from a hardware wallet to claim NIGHT, by signing a hashed message. This method of claiming introduces a potential and significant security risk to the wallet owner. Below are some details of the potential attack that can be launched if you do not follow a transparent signing process.
