Book also does a Deep Dive on the #MatebelelandCollective which invited a lot of criticism from #civilsociety from other parts of Zimbabwe & Diaspora and how it fractured this collective @RFayayo looking forward to get into your analysis on this @mdutshwa
Replying to @zenzele
@zenzele talking about the complexity of language in #Zimbabwe is politicised and how it plays out in other languages such as #kalanga #tonga #civilsociety #Zimbabwe

Why only travellers using Gwanda Road which implies targeting Matebeleland destinations others going elsewhere in the country are only processed at Beitbridge and dont have additional taxes to pay
Why are citizens being harassed in Gwanda by customs officials after they have concluded and fulfilled all immigration and customs requirements at Beitbridge? This behaviour is creating corruption revenues for ZIMRA and ZRP officers manning these roadblocks. As the senator says eloquently, it is also creating robbery opportunities for thugs. STOP THIS, Mthuli Ncube! We know that you are broke due to mismanagement and corruption, but that does not justify treating your own citizens and tourists like this. This harassment is destroying confidence, damaging the country’s image, and pushing people away from using Zimbabwean borders altogether.

I am completely shattered. I met with him yesterday and we had a hearty chat on his illustrious service to SADC Infrastructure and Transport cluster. Can’t believe he is gone. He looked well and it’s in total disbelief that I got the news of his passing. I am gutted! MHDSRIP.
