A water feature and aquaculture system that is 6,600 years old has presumably survived the bushfires. We need to listen and learn from Aboriginal elders and the original custodians of Australia in order to prepare for future fires and climate change.
The #BudjBim #nationalpark #bushfire has burnt through more than 6000 hectares. Denis Rose from the #GunditjMirring #TraditionalOwners Corp believes the #WorldHeritage listed #Muldoons #aquaculture system survived the blaze. @abcmelbourne @abcnews
