When the DA won the Western Cape, Cape Town became unaffordable overnight, house prices exploded and black people were priced out, pushed to the margins of a city we built. Then the DA won Tshwane and the same thing happened: insane levies, property prices shooting up in places like Pretoria East, public streets closed off, boomed estates created, whole areas effectively locked away for a few. Now Helen Zille is coming for Johannesburg, now this is our HEART!!โ€ฆ If you dare hand her Joburg, itโ€™s the same script all over again. Our three best cities captured through pricing, zoning, and exclusion. This isnโ€™t coincidence, itโ€™s strategy. Racial segregation! If Johannesburg falls, spatial apartheid is back, not with laws, but with money and ownership of this country will be completely out of reach for the black people.
