This 5-6th Century Frisian bone amulet from Wijnaldum, Netherlands, bears the name “Inguz” spelled three times, some of the runes doubled up into bindrunes. Hail Ingvi-Freyr! ᛁᛜ︍ᚢᛉ

Just rewatched Dune and MAN, I forgot how much of a drag Chani is. Just scene after scene of pouting and scowling while Paul unites her people and heroically leads them to victory over the outworlders that have plagued them for centuries. Truly the wettest of blankets.

Question for Americans: You’re minding your own business when a samurai from the 1600s walks up, challenges you to a duel, and starts drawing his sword. What’s your survival strategy? Be honest.

You take my money, get rid of my dog, and changed all of the locks. Then the moment I start moving my stuff out, it’s, “Oh, I was just playing.” Yeah, ok 🙄

Odin's men ran at the enemy with no armour. They bit their own shields and howled like wolves. They hit with the strength of bears and bulls. Fire and iron did nothing to them. That fury belonged to the highest god. Tap in to that same fire and aim it!

Gave a small offering of tobacco to my father and my grandfather. Not very traditional as an offering, but I know it’s something they partook in while they were alive.

Stanza 69 - Havamal All wretched is no man, though never so sick; Some from their sons have joy, Some win it from kinsmen, and some from their wealth, And some from worthy works.

The mysteries of and multiple masteries by Woden are extremely important aspects of worship and Heathenry. While some have argued that in the ancient past only Jarl, Karl, Kings, and Nobles, could worship him. I don't apply that to today. The sheer amount of names of places, epithets, and lore surrounding Woden / Oðinn speaks to this. Is my opinion that Odinic worship is of utmost importance to Heathenry. P.S. Not to say that dedication to the other Gods and the ancestors isn't also of importance.

Óðinn functions as a cosmic wildcard. He uses his divine madness to look past the rigid rules of the Norns (fate) and finds the fluid paths hidden beneath reality. His will is an active, unyielding current of consciousness that refuses to be static or suppressed.
