After almost 10 years, today is my last day with @Sports_Spectrum. It's time to say goodbye.
And honestly, I don’t know how to put this into words.
What started as a job became a calling. A ministry. A family. A huge part of who I am.
I’m overwhelmed with gratitude for the people God placed in my life along the way.
To @SteveStenstrom, Howard Haworth, @JonDAckerman, Aaron Sauer, @abhasselbeck, @MattForte22, @ScottLinebrink, Raymond St Martin, Krystin McConnell, and so many other teammates over the years — people like Rachel, Tricia, Bekah, Jacob, Leah, Josh, Benjamin, Joe, Greg — you all made me better at my job and more importantly, you challenged me to go deeper with Jesus. THANK YOU.
To every athlete, coach, broadcaster, author, pastor and speaker who trusted me with your story: THANK YOU. I’ll never take that trust for granted.
And to everyone who watched, listened, read, posted, shared, prayed, encouraged, emailed, DM’d and believed in what we were doing—THANK YOU. You made this work matter.
For nearly 10 years, God gave me the incredible privilege of using two things I love—sports and media—to point people toward the thing I love most: Jesus. That’s something I’ll never stop being grateful for.
Leaving hurts. A lot. Especially when it is something that has meant so much to me.
The friendships. The late nights. The long days. The hard days. The conversations. The big moments. The nine Super Bowls. The gatherings across the country. The countless stories. I’ll carry all of it with me.
But even through the sadness, I have peace. I believe God is calling me into a new season, a new assignment and I’m excited for what’s ahead.
Sports Spectrum and PAO will always be an important part of my story.
THANK YOU for 10 incredible years.
I’m leaving with a full heart, deep gratitude, and more love for these people and this place than I could ever put into words.
To God be the glory.

A sad week for ESPN Radio, past and present, with the loss of two men synonymous with its success. They were husbands, fathers, friends and cheerleaders. It's an honor to share my personal stories and memories. Thank you for taking a few minutes to understand why they will be profoundly missed. youtu.be/nGox9C3SZqU?si=ZiyL…

Yaxel’s right. I get why Luka and these guys do it, they get rewarded for it, but it’s trickled into every league in the world. Refs reward the foul baiters. It should be the other way around.

"I had a lot of respect for him ... but being in there first hand, watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect for him."

Dang it. Dan the Duke and now Stosh both in the same day. Both colleagues from my early days at ESPN. Stosh was a really good guy. Family guy. We worked together on many ESPN Radio shows in the 2000-2003 time frame. This one hurts.
Longtime ESPN Radio producer Stosh Cienki has sadly passed away at 52. He spent over two decades in Bristol and was loved behind the scenes at @espnradio. Colleagues remembered one of the network's most positive forces and steady professionals.

I worked with Dan "The Duke" Davis my first 3 years at ESPN. He was a legend and his voice was one of those "Voice of God" types. My condolences to his family.
ESPN remembers Dan Davis, an ESPN Radio founding member, who passed away Wednesday
Starting Jan. '92, Davis served as a host & update reporter

I’ll get fired from being a ball coach before I ever get fired from being a husband or a father.
Thanks to Tim Green and the @nlutimgreen pod for having me on. Tim is an inspiration.
How do you forgive someone who has hurt you for most of your life?
For years Jason Romano @JasonRomano carried anger and resentment toward his father, whose alcoholism had torn their relationship apart.
But after a life changing moment, Jason discovered something unexpected: forgiveness was not about excusing his father's actions. It was about freeing himself from the pain he had carried for decades.
In this powerful conversation Jason shares his journey from bitterness to forgiveness, the role faith played in his healing, and why reconciliation does not mean forgetting the past.
