Pray THIS with me. (Even if you don’t think you need it)
February 9, 2026
Lord Jesus,
I come to You honest and undone, carrying my failures, my regrets, and the weight of all the times I knew better but chose otherwise. I have tried to fix myself, outrun my past, and justify my sin, and it has only left me tired. Today I stop running. I believe You are who You say You are, the Son of God, the Savior who stepped into my mess and took my place at the cross.
Thank You for being the God of second chances, and third, and a thousand more. Thank You that my past does not disqualify me from Your grace. I confess that I need You. I turn from my old life and I turn toward You. Wash me clean, make me new, and teach my heart how to follow You one step at a time.
I receive the gift of forgiveness, not because I deserve it, but because You freely give it. Take what is broken in me and breathe Your life into it. Give me a new heart, a new direction, and the courage to live differently from this day forward. I trust You with my future, my identity, and my soul.
Jesus, I give You my life.
Amen
Happy Birthday, Marines!
Here's a little video I put together to commemorate 250 years of exceptionalism and brotherhood.

It’s 11/1 and the Sons of Tun are storming the internet with no ROE and taking no prisoners.
Here’s my quaint contribution to 250 years of extraordinary legacy that I'm honored to be a part of.

80 years ago today, the Battle of Iwo Jima came to an end. It had begun Feb 19, but the iconic flag raising on Feb 23 wasn't the end of the battle as most think. It merely marked the end of the beginning.
The 3rd, 4th, and 5th Marine Divisions led the fight. for 5 bloody weeks.
At it's conclusion, 6,800 Marines and soldiers were dead and 19,200 were wounded. An astounding 21,000 Japanese soldiers were dead with only 216 taken prisoner.
'RAH!!
I really appreciate these first hand accounts. They're deeply motivating.
The flag raising on Mt Surinachi, Iwo Jima, happened 80 years ago today.

Never forget the gift the Greatest Generation has given us. Let us all learn from their example of sacrifice… and honor.
Semper Fidelis.
I sent the @MichaelBerrySho a quick email this morning about the Iwo Jima anniversary today. I know he loves history and has a soft spot in his heart for the Corps.
About 5 minutes later I heard the Marine Hymn start playing...
The Marine Corps began it's attack on the Japanese held island of Iwo Jima 80 years today. Sunday will mark the 80th anniversary of the famous flag raising on Mt. Suribachi.
Never forget what the Greatest Generation did to preserve our way of life.
Semper Fidelis!
Mornin’ Marines. The coffee’s on… and you’re gonna need it!
This is the largest accumulation of snow in SE Texas in my lifetime.
After yesterday, this additional blessing seems excessive. God is good!
2025 is the 250th anniversary of the Marine Corps.
Seems fitting that we just swore in the first Marine to serve in the White House... and he'll likely be there until the 262nd anniversary!
Semper Fidelis Mr. Vice President.
Today is a good day.
Amen, brother.
Pray with me

Father, may Your name be honored and hallowed as we seek a new beginning for our nation today. We ask for Your divine guidance and wisdom to lead us on this journey. May we turn our eyes to You, recognizing Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the foundation upon which we will build our future.
Lord, we pray for unity among our people, that we may come together in love and understanding, embracing our differences. Help Your people to stand firm in commitment to what You have instructed. Give us a spirit of compassion, kindness, and humility, reflecting the grace that You have shown us.
We ask for Your blessings upon our leaders, that they may seek Your will in their decisions and lead with integrity, justice, and a deep sense of responsibility for the well-being of all. May they be inspired by Your love and guided by Your truth.
As we embark on this new journey, fill our hearts with courage to face challenges and the determination to overcome them. Let us be a beacon of hope and light to others, sharing the message of Your love and salvation.
In every corner of our land, may Your peace reign and may we walk in the light of Your presence. We trust in Your promises and look forward to the future You have in store for us.
Let Your kingdom come, and let Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
In Jesus' name,
Amen
