Making some more 6502 progress, very fun language to work in
big things going on at work! will share when i am certain πŸ˜„
Learning 6502 over the weekend so I can write some NES games. So far this is what i got ... mario screenwrapping it's a start!
Huge lesson I've had to learn. Leave work at work. If you're super interested in a problem & finding a solution, I'm sure it'll keep you engaged at work tomorrow

When I started getting into React I used to hear a lot about how Redux is overcomplicated and frustrating. Gotta say, after two months working professionally w/ it, i don't share those sentiments at all. It's actually very intuitive & fun to work with at scale.

When starting at work, I was really nervous about code reviews. Having someone else look at and critique your code. But i really look forward to them now. They give me an opportunity to learn & understand how to better work in our codebase. They are seriously invaluable 😁

and my coworkers are all incredibly intelligent & helpful. The code base is HUGE and quite daunting. But, I've been helping improve out app's performance for new devices & squashing some bugs! That's about it for now, but yeah, really loving life right now πŸ˜„

Also, going to be taking a small pause on my 100 Days, maybe a week or so. I have some personal stuff I have to deal with this week, and I really need the time off. Going to be reading gameprogrammingpatterns.com/ though, just to keep sharp and bc it looks very interesting 😁

Day 83 of #100DaysOfCode Nice day today. Spent some more time reading Redux docs and practiced more w/ TypeScript. Nothing too crazy, but really want to use TypeScript as my daily driver. Saves me a lot of time debugging during developmentπŸ˜…

Day 82 of #100DaysOfCode Finished up FCCs React and Redux content and read more of the Redux docs to further solidify my understanding. Gotta say, I definitely understand the gripes with it. The boilerplate & logic is kind of nonsensical. But overall, not too bad so far πŸ˜‹

Day 81 of #100DaysOfCode Spent some time retooling my modal designs & rehashing the layout of my flash card app in Figma 😊 Also had to refactor some code to better account for the state I was using across my components. And ended the day with some CSS πŸ˜‰ Next: Jest & React!!

Day 80 of #100DaysOfCode - Revisited some DS & A today, particularly matrix questions as these are my biggest weak spot by farπŸ˜… - Also went and finished some designs for my flashcards & began working on the modal representation for individual cards Still loving React!!!!

Also the whole code splitting and prefetching with NextJS is genius, i see why it's such a popular framework
Day 79 of #100DaysOfCode nice relaxing day today πŸ˜‹ been a bit busy outside of code - Finished up the Redux section on FCC & started the one on React w/ Redux - Also, started reading the NextJS documentation, what a neat framework. So much packaged in, can't wait to use it 😁
