when people complain that YCSE didn't sufficiently explore Elizabeth Holmes' guilt and allowed some audience members to believe she's innocent
I thought Chad Mizelle was repping Jared Kushner in his dispute with Vanity Fair but it looks like he outsourced the legal letter to Clare Locke?
We formally put Vanity Fair and Condé Nast on notice regarding the false and defamatory allegations published about our client, Jared Kushner.
Serious questions are now being raised about the credibility of this reporting, including by independent journalists.
Despite repeated requests, the author has failed to produce a single bank statement, wire transfer record, account number, or other verifiable evidence supporting these extraordinary accusations.
We have seen no indication that Vanity Fair conducted any independent verification of these claims before publishing them.
We call on Vanity Fair to clarify publicly whether it independently verified these allegations and, if so, what evidence supports them. Or did it simply republish the author’s claims without conducting its own fact-checking?
We have demanded that Vanity Fair remove the article and preserve all records relating to its reporting, fact-checking, editorial review, and publication.
Letter attached. More to come.

watched 5 minutes of that Lindsay Graham video and had enough. does anyone produce a text message, a venmo payment, an email — any kind of record at any point? or is it just interviews mashed together with old TV clips?

'As we walked, I told Holmes that I heard Jennifer Lawrence had recently pulled out of portraying her in a movie. She looked over at me, and said: “They’re not playing me. They’re playing a character I created.” As she walked a couple of steps ahead, I wrote down her exact words in my notebook.'
In today's @nytimes Backstory newsletter, I talk to Amy Chozick about the new Elizabeth Holmes documentary and Holmes's dispute over a quote from Chozick's NYT profile of her. The movie brings up the quote several times as it assesses Holmes's veracity. nytimes.com/2026/10/22/insid…

The cost of living in New York keeps rising.
A cornucopia of federal agencies have been quietly targeting a global money laundering operation that they say cleans millions a day for cartel members & those trying to avoid Russia sanctions. A previously unreported arrest this week lays it all out.

They badly fumbled the bag (to the extent its existed) to create a narrative shift and garner sympathy for Holmes and build momentum for a pardon. "What would Charlie do?" is the only move they have.
