I’ve been voting for 26 years, and I’ve never been more excited to cast my ballot than I am for @davidjollyfl and @GwenGraham here in Florida. LFG!!! 🌴💙

It’s going to be tough but definitely winnable 💯
There it is.
@CookPolitical just moved the Florida governor’s race from SOLID REPUBLICAN to LIKELY REPUBLICAN.
And pay attention to why: @DavidJollyFL’s winning independents and disaffected Republicans is part of what makes this race increasingly competitive.
We’ve been saying it: Republicans crossing over for Jolly aren’t some imaginary social-media phenomenon. We’re the constituency changing the math.
@ByronDonalds still has the money advantage. He’s still the favorite. But that may be the high-water mark.
Because the more Floridians learn about who Byron Donalds actually is—and who he is not—the more David Jolly gets a serious look.
And something interesting happens when people stop staring at the R and D and start looking at the men.
@DavidJollyFL starts changing hearts and minds.
Not because conservatives suddenly became liberals. Not because Republicans suddenly embraced the Democratic Party. But because people are exhausted by performative politics, grievance, obedience, and politicians auditioning for their own team.
We want authenticity and principled leadership—someone with enough backbone to tell his own team no, enough independence to put principle ahead of party, and enough humility to admit when he was wrong.
That shouldn’t be extraordinary.
But look at our politics today. It damn near is.
@ByronWarRoom has the money.
@DavidJollyFL has something money can’t manufacture: authenticity.
And every time another Floridian gives him that second look, Byron’s biggest advantage gets a little smaller.
Solid R → Likely R.
Keep looking.
The more people see, the more this race moves.

I'm endorsing David Jolly for Florida governor, and I want to be specific about why, because the case is stronger than most people realize. He spent one day last weekend at a Republican-leaning retirement community in The Villages, then a Leesburg senior clubhouse, then a rally in Hillsborough County, which voted Republican for president for the first time in twenty years. That's not a base turnout strategy. It's someone trying to rebuild a coalition in a state national Democrats largely gave up on after 2022.
His answer on transgender participation in sports is the kind of position candidates usually avoid giving honestly. He said Florida's school and university restrictions aren't going away, but the governor shouldn't throw a flag on the field over a coed rec league team, while saying plainly he doesn't think 'biologically born men' should play in competitive sports. His running mate is Gwen Graham, daughter of longtime Senator Bob Graham, and progressives including Rep. Maxwell Frost back him too. That's how you build a coalition, not just talk about one.
“All of a sudden the road to the White House looks dramatically different…The structural change from winning Florida is a generational opportunity for Democrats.”
Thank you @stevenpsloan and the @AP for spending time with us on the trail.

This speaks volumes. Georgia has two of the best senators in the nation.
Two Republican mayors from the reddest parts of Georgia are breaking ranks to back Sen. Jon Ossoff’s reelection bid, telling the @ajc that the Democrat’s work for their communities outweighs partisan differences. #gapol

Maggie Haberman spent an hour with him in the Oval Office in March and came away with a number. Seventy percent of his mind share, by her estimate, goes to the renovations. The ballroom. The arch. He interrupted an unrelated meeting to call Emmanuel Macron and ask what it is like to stand under the actual Arc de Triomphe, whether it has a visitor's desk, whether people jump off it. Someone had asked him what should go on top of his own version. He was deciding between that and a giant gold cast of his own fist from Butler.
Meanwhile nobody around him seems fully certain he understands how depleted American munitions are after this war he started with Iran, a live open question from a reporter who has covered him for a decade.
There is no policy agenda left, by Haberman's own account. No immigration bill in the works, no legislative program, nothing beyond retribution and construction. He is not governing a country right now so much as decorating a legacy he has already decided he deserves.
Data Center Donalds will never be Florida’s governor.
Meanwhile, @davidjollyfl thinks Florida should stop approving new AI data centers for now until there are better protections for residents and the environment.
The choice is simple. Vote Jolly.

I watched Trump’s speech at the Correspondents’ Dinner last night.
It’s hard to articulate how sad it made me.
Sad and embarrassed and exhausted.
Here is the thing about a man who is a joke. He can’t tell one.
People think humor is a talent. It isn’t. It’s a capacity. To make someone laugh you have to be able to laugh at yourself, and to laugh at yourself you have to step outside of yourself and see what everyone else sees. For one second you have to be just another person in the room.
Most people can do this by the time they are nine years old.
He has never once managed it. Not in fifty years of cameras. Not for a second.
That is not a quirk. It is a symptom. The muscle that lets you tell a joke is the same one that lets you feel what another person feels. A man who cannot survive being laughed at cannot imagine being anyone but himself. He will only ever be generous when it is photographed. He will only ever be kind when it is filmed.
There is a name for it.
So he stood up there and did what he always does. He hit down. He made jokes about people’s weight. He made jokes about their intelligence. He made jokes about how women look. He read out the names of people he doesn’t like, and mocked them. Always mocking. And when no one laughed he blamed his speech writers.
The cruelty dressed as humor has worn so thin.
And for the 30% of you still in the cult who will inevitably call me a crackhead and blame it all on my Dad, all I can say is please, for the love of God, open your eyes. Wake the fuck up. Have some dignity. Have some pride.
Joe Biden wasn’t standing at that podium last night. Donald Trump was.
And at the end of it he put on a red hat that said Trump 2028 and told the room he was running again. No one laughed because everyone knows he has no intention of leaving.
Just another joke at our expense.
SB 484 addresses some costs, but it doesn’t guarantee Florida is prepared for the unprecedented scale of AI data centers. Until we understand the long-term impacts on our power grid, water supply, and communities, a temporary pause is reasonable. I trust @davidjollyfl on this.
Obviously you have not followed the work @GovRonDeSantis has already done on this issue. SB 484 already protects our water and our power grid. As Governor, I will keep this law on the books, and make sure we protect all communities.
How rude of Spain to crowd into all those @FIFAWorldCup championship photos. They should have exited stage left and left the celebration to the true winner: @realDonaldTrump

More and more Florida Republicans are rejecting Byron Donalds saying, “I’ll never vote for him, I’m voting for David Jolly.”
Welcome. We’re glad you’re here!
Couldn’t agree more. So excited to be voting FOR @davidjollyfl and @GwenGraham
When I vote for @davidjollyfl, I’m not voting against the other candidates, I’m excited to be voting FOR David.
In this age of hyper-partisan political divide, it’s refreshing to support a positive and unifying candidate, who we can be proud of, with actual, substantive plans.
