Apropos of nothing, here’s a column my dad, a WWII vet, wrote in 1989 about politicians who desecrate the flag with performative patriotism…
The Washington Monument stands as a tribute to our first president. This week, thanks to our 45th and 47th president, it is illuminated with the story of American greatness. 🇺🇸

This ad is a Rorschach test, and Cenk’s response is to accuse the inkblot of being a radical Zionist. Everyone else with a functioning brain saw an antisemitic ad.
Perfect example of the media filter. Everyone online loves the ad, it’s gotten millions of views and wonderful accolades. Radical Zionists are the only ones objecting. And national media spins that as “avalanche of criticism” because only people they know are radical Zionists.

Leftists openly rooted for Hillary, Joe, and Kamala to lose. Yall made up fake sexual assault allegations against Joe like a week after he became the presumptive nominee. Weeks before the election yall were calling Kamala a killer. Yall celebrated on election night 2016 & 2024

Worth repeating, despite the opinions of people on here, @JaredEMoskowitz is the perfect fit for that district
PPP poll | 10/26-10/27 LV US House 2026 | Florida’s 25th congressional district (Trump +9 | 2024) 🟦Jared Moskowitz 47% (incumbent) 🟥Scott Singer 41% 2024 recall vote: Trump +7 (Democratic pollster)

Leftists in the replies crying over a statewide candidate in FLORIDA calling Cuba a dictatorship (spoiler: it is). Be serious please.
I say it plainly: I do not celebrate Castro. I call Cuba what it is, an authoritarian regime, and I will fight for the Cuban families who fled it. Meanwhile, Ashley Moody backs deporting Cuban families back to the regime they escaped. #AngieforFlorida

So there is at least one immigrant who fears for his safety in his home country who the Trump administration will let in. xitter.cf/SimonLevyMx/status/211…
As I reported hours ago, Flávio Bolsonaro has arrived safely in United States. The mastermind behind this operation is U.S. Secretary of State @SecRubio . From the United States, free and safe, Flávio will lead the opposition against Lula.

The online "far left" is essentially a narcissistic movement. Always motivated by attention, moral bullying, & the reward that comes from emotional control. Then there's their meth-like addiction to antisemitism. We must treat their "movement" like a gangrenous thumb. Lop it off.
I keep telling you the likes of Cenk and Piker are hurting AES and instead of blaming the people undermining AES, many of the hard left blame those of us who were rightfully warning of the damage. Keep all this away from the campaign for the Love of God.

Pro-democracy forces have won in Brazil and Serbia in the last few days and I so hope they win in Israel today by defeating Netanyahu. And then win next week in our midterms here. I hope and believe the global far right tide is turning.

Part of the Democratic Party’s credibility problem is that too many politicians and pundits are asking voters to follow their lead on candidates who could literally be the difference between democracy and authoritarianism. Yet many of those same voices went all in for a guy with a Totenkopf and a long history of questionable behavior, and never fully apologized for it. In a Trumpian move, they offered little accountability or self-reflection. They just stopped talking about it. And now they’re surprised people aren’t taking their opinions seriously.

Feel like there’s a media story somewhere about former MSNBC hosts who started out relatively normal and went completely off the deep end because of audience capture: Ed Schultz, Cenk, Medhi Hassan, Joy Reid…

You’re semi regular reminder that even relatively mainstream Palestinian activists - like Rep. Tlaib - have zero interest in peaceful coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians
Regardless of which war criminal becomes prime minister, Palestinians living under Israeli apartheid will continue to face genocide, land theft, and erasure. We cannot accept lies, excuses, or half-measures from our leaders. We must impose a full arms embargo and sanctions until Palestine is free.

Dismissing a Jewish congressman’s objection to an antisemitic ad just proves the problem.

Um Goldman doesn’t say disavowal … he says AES should condemn the ad and he doesn’t get remotely close to doing that
Hey Dan, I know you’re probably super busy trying to set up your next (doomed) campaign. But if you (or your sycophantic consultants) spent like five seconds doing some due diligence you would have found that his campaign disavowed this ad several hours before you posted this.

Highly amusing that Polymarket has had to clarify that Eisenkot is a centrist because their last post about him attracted the dumbest people on this site proclaiming he was more radical than Bibi because he is a former IDF chief.
BREAKING: Netanyahu crashes to all-time low in odds to remain Prime Minister of Israel after tomorrow's election, as centrist former IDF chief Eisenkot surges. 27% chance. 🔗 polymarket.com/r/Netanyahu26

Nominating Abdul El-Sayed was such a mistake. Like, this is genuinely so terrible. Should have just taken the easy road! Could have invested so much more in other states to expand the map.

Eh this isn’t a disavowal. Disavowing something means criticizing it. This just says “oh, it wasn’t our campaign.”

A Muslim candidate is going to run a couple of points worse because Islamophobia is a very real phenomenon, but if this data is anywhere near accurate, the difference in the underpoll is because El-Sayed is a bad candidate with unpopular policy positions. Good job, MI Dems.
We have Benson up 12.4 but El-Sayed only up 2.5, with Benson doing better among Independents & Moderates as well as Black and Catholic voters (compared to El-Sayed): ippsr.msu.edu/news/msu-poll-…

My values, my identity and my community are far more important to me than any individual election result. Regardless, it’s widely understood that I lost in my particular district for the same reasons this ad is repugnant, blatantly false, and incites even more violence against Jews. And sadly, you consistently add fuel to this slanderous and anti-Jewish fire.
