Today, equity perps can begin trading for the first time on @CFTC registered exchanges. This move reflects my commitment to ensuring that America’s markets remain the most innovative, liquid, and well-regulated in the world. Instead of being forced to turn to offshore, unregulated venues to access equity perpetual futures, Americans may now access equity perps on CFTC-regulated markets subject to robust safeguards. I appreciate the continued partnership of @SECGov and @SECPaulSAtkins as we work to further harmonize our agencies' regulatory initiatives.

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ] have announced their plan to use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US traders across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and other real-world assets, subject to regulatory approvals. ICE operates NYSE and some of the largest exchanges and clearing houses globally. In this structure: + Hyperliquid serves as the underlying technology infrastructure via HIP-3* + trade[XYZ] designs and implements the markets + ICE operates the regulated market and clearing structure Existing trade[XYZ] HIP-3 markets will remain unchanged. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.
trade[XYZ] and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, are joining forces to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States. In just over a year, our markets on Hyperliquid have surpassed $650 billion in volume. They provide continuous price discovery for stocks, indices, and commodities, and have become trusted reference points for retail and institutions alike when traditional markets are closed. Much of the world trades them. Until now, Americans could only watch. We intend to change that. Subject to CFTC approval, trade[XYZ] and ICE plan to establish a new, dedicated U.S. market, with novel exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid. Planned contracts span equities, indices, commodities, FX, and crypto, with access through participating brokers and platforms. We’ll share more on products, eligibility, and timing as approvals progress. ICE brings more than 25 years of experience operating regulated markets, clearing, and managing risk. trade[XYZ] brings the product development, market design, and technology behind the most liquid and robust markets on Hyperliquid. Innovation and the protections of U.S. regulation shouldn’t be a trade-off. Together, we plan to prove it. ICE is making a strategic investment in trade[XYZ] and joins us in building towards the future of Hyperliquid. A small group of market luminaries is joining as well, beginning with Stan Druckenmiller. For more than four decades, few investors have anticipated the great turns in markets as often as Stan. We’re proud to have him with us for the next one. We’re building the U.S. market in parallel with our existing HIP-3 markets, which we’ll continue to expand and innovate on. We expect both to flourish. They each have a long road map ahead, from new asset classes to new ways to trade them. To the Hyperliquid community, whether you were here before us or came because of us, thank you. You took a chance on new markets and you made them matter. You’ll forever be a part of this story. Anything. Anytime. On ICE[XYZ].

ICE and Trade[XYZ] plan to bring Hyperliquid-based perps to the U.S. Subject to regulatory approvals, ICE will operate U.S. regulated versions of Trade[XYZ]’s markets, leveraging their expertise as the leading deployer of real-world-asset perps on Hyperliquid. The new venue will operate separately to ICE’s institutional futures franchise and offer a trading experience designed for retail participation. Once live, U.S. traders will be able to trade 24/7 across a range of assets spanning the macro complex including: *Crypto *Equities *Indices *Commodities *Forex Read more: spr.ly/6010BHq9X8 Users will access the platform through U.S.-regulated FCMs performing KYC/AML screening, including ICE's joint venture with OKX. ICE and Trade[XYZ] will seek approvals to launch a new market built on Hyperliquid to operate KYC-compliant perp markets, including regulatory approvals to support leveraged trading.

Excited to work with Payward to forge a path for onchain derivatives built on Hyperliquid's infrastructure. Kraken is one of the most trusted and respected exchanges in crypto. They are also true believers in the technology and crypto ethos. We're honored that they are building on Hyperliquid to bring the next evolution of perpetual markets to the United States.
Payward, the parent company of Kraken, announced its intention to be the first CFTC-regulated deployer on HIP-3* markets. Payward will use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US clients. Subject to regulatory approval, Bitnomial, Payward’s CFTC-regulated DCM and DCO, would act as the HIP-3* deployer: creating, owning, and administering the markets and clearing and settling the contracts. If approved, NinjaTrader Clearing, Payward’s CFTC-registered FCM, would carry client accounts. HIP-3 will support optional deployer configuration for permissioned markets in a future network upgrade. This set of additional deployer functionality is collectively called HIP-3*. At its core, HIP-3* activation involves an onchain allowlist managed by the deployer or its sub-deployers. The functionality is strictly additive to HIP-3; its use is optional and up to the deployer. Existing markets remain unchanged. The initial release is available on testnet, where specifications are preliminary and subject to change based on feedback. Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. HIP-3* gives deployers additional functionality to operate deployments consistent with the requirements applicable to them. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

in an era where a cesspool of newly minted bundle rugs are ready to dump on any newcomers to the space plumbers and broccoli heads pray to satoshi for some divinely authored fair launch coins with immaculate distribution it’s not unique to crypto TCGs suffer a similar challenge Costco fights and FedEx heists settle the distribution for the most aura-packed ink on cardboard (blessed the finest provenance) so we tried smthn diff and stealth launched and gave 71% of the total Mudwater supply to the community for free the spirit of early bayc box allocation distribution was designed like a token drop and soon, the limited allocations set aside for other communities will amplify Mudwater further ask around and you’ll find Mudwater being talked about by leadership at collectible card companies our inboxes are full of folks asking how they can buy boxes and cases the thing is we did a Fair Launch TCG (might as well put a ™ after that) and because of the apecoin:native reflection, holders are more aligned with the success of the project too so if you want to stack size you’ll have to acquire it one pack at a time from the apes who have it good luck bored ape yacht club

Confirmed btw that cryptobilis is not the only compromised reseller. If you own a ledger, go ahead and open it up (see @MagicalTux how-to video): youtube.com/watch?v=5zRkNoyq… Applies to any variant, even a Flex has been found with a spy implant. Seems widespread though damage so far is (relatively) contained. No theories on why that may be btw.
So it would appear that the "authorized reseller" Was bought out in March of this year and forced to sign an NDA that prevented them from telling anybody that they had sold the business. The NDA expires in 10 days. It is now more likely that we're not dealing with a malicious employee, but probably a well-funded and relatively sophisticated bad actor, possibly DPRK. It is also likely that this is not the only third-party reseller that they attempted to buy. If you purchased a ledger (or other hardware wallet) from ANY reseller and not from Ledger directly, you should carefully and slowly move funds to a new device. If you do not have a new device, you can start with a 2-of-2 multisig where your ledger is one signer and a hot wallet is another. Use that in the interim until you have another hardware device. And in the long term, the safest way to store your self-custodied tokens remains a multisig (but not a 2/2, where loss of one key leads to loss of funds). Prefer 2/3 or 3/5.

this is bullshit btw affected users either: - fell for a phishing scam - bought from a malicious "reseller" buy your hardware wallets direct from source and don't fall for scams HIGHLY irresponsible to tweet this.
