My dad passed away at 10:20pm last night after a battle with lung cancer. He’s the bravest man you could ever meet and he deserved better than this. I’m glad I made his last game so special (thanks to @mattcecil87) and I hope we can win at Wembley for him, love you Dad 💙

My mate was waiting for his tax rebate before he got a ticket, and my dad won’t be able to travel due to his illness so need my best mate with me to celebrate us getting top 6. To make up for him missing Burton, I made sure he met the best set piece taker in the country…
It may sound harsh but I don’t really feel anything towards 90% of our squad.
Things change fast in football, and I don’t think performances have been *that* bad, but I’m struggling at the moment.
Like I say I don’t think we’ve been all that bad, and I think defensive lapses have ruined some decent performances.
But this squad lacks something and it’s hard to put your finger on what that is. It all just feels very stale, which is baffling considering the player turnover.
Disappointing that the ebar still isn’t working in the Frank Adams @wwfcofficial

Former England and Premier League striker Danny Ings signs for Wycombe Wanderers 🤝
And our newest recruit could be involved when we take on Reading at Adams Park on Saturday.
Welcome Danny!

90' Sheffield Wednesday keeper Joe Wildsmith is playing for time here... in a friendly 😅

Many have a preconceived opinion of Alex Lowry.
Having endured personal tragedy, constant scrutiny and the pain of seeing his family affected by the criticism, he simply wants to change the false narratives that surround him 🧡

Welcome back Vokesy 🙌
Sam Vokes returns to the club in a coaching role aimed primarily at supporting and mentoring first-team players.
Great to have you back Sam!

Some notes on Steve Cook just getting Wycombe, how the players responded to a turbulent week, and the value of the @wwstrust:

In reality
Seeing that there’s a decent chance the Reading game on the 26th could be postponed.
Feels like the perfect time for Dan Rice to give an interview and address fans’ concerns.
An in house interview more likely, but think @samavery_1 deserves the chance to ask the right questions

Not my preference, but Karl Robinson is probably the appointment that makes the most logical sense.
This team didn’t look anything like a Michael Duff team, and he’ll know that as well.
But what are the expectations? What is a Wycombe team supposed to look like in 2026? I have absolutely no idea, and that’s the worrying part.
Well covered by @AliMaxwell_ this week on the pod.
Wycombe Wanderers have parted company with Head Coach Michael Duff and First-Team Coach Alex Morris.
The club has made the decision in light of a disappointing run of results since the spring and believes the time is right to take a new direction.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Michael and Alex for their hard work and contributions to Wycombe Wanderers and wish them every success for the future.
The appointment of an interim Head Coach will follow later today.
I’m not sure what Connor Wickham has to do with it
Replying to @YesWeCrann
we must sue Wickham for his medical costs at least, that pitch is unacceptable as a professional playing surface. Got to get heavy into the free agent market now, to lose our best player at this stage is devastating
