Victoria Ward reports in The Telegraph—
A law firm at the heart of the Duke of Sussex’s failed hacking claim against the publisher of the Daily Mail has gone bankrupt, The Telegraph can reveal.
Thomson Heath Jenkins has called in insolvency practitioners, and the office has closed. One source in the company admitted it had been “a shock for staff”.
The firm jointly instructed counsel for all seven celebrity claimants – the Duke of Sussex, Baroness Doreen Lawrence, Sir Elton John, his husband David Furnish, Liz Hurley, Sadie Frost and Sir Simon Hughes – in the high-profile privacy claim against Associated Newspapers Limited.

In Aberfan yesterday, it was very touching to see the delighted smiles of the local people as they met their King and Queen.
So much warmth from the Queen on a cold day and the King chatting to everyone and making them feel valued.
Prince William came without a coat - brave! - and it was notable how much time he gave to people, real meaningful conversations.
I felt we are lucky to have a Royal family to help commemorate one of our most painful national tragedies.
Sixty years on, we remember the 144 people who lost their lives in the Aberfan disaster.
Today, The King and The Queen, with The Prince of Wales, spent time at the Aberfan Memorial Garden and the Aberfan and Merthyr Vale Community Centre to honour their memory.
The Aberfan Memorial Garden stands on the site of Pantglas School, where 109 children and 5 teachers died when the coal tip collapsed onto the village.
