People are losing the attention span to even watch 30 minute TV shows as short form video eats the world.
Some $GPN Math
"Holding today's ~5.4x NTM multiple constant on our STM EPS of $19.02 gets the stock to -$102 (~26% upside) on earnings delivery alone."

All the negative takes on $META / Zuck flying blind when it comes to AI / equity raise is all cope and makes me want to buy more.
This guy rebuilt a full AI team in 1 year, caught up to the frontier and launched a product that we probably couldn't even dream of 3 years ago. Zuck is about to dunk on all of you.
With my defense of LONG $Meta now complete, it probably is the top.

Unfortunately I don’t think $META trades well in the near term and probably goes back to being a funding short
Everyone has known Zuck has sorta been flying blind when it comes to AI (he even said so with Wang when he tried to chew that pint down like it was vodka) and tonight didn’t really help.
Muse monetization feels very uncertain, at least with respect to timing. I also still think people enjoy shopping and buying things themselves (especially people who typically buy things off Instagram and Facebook) but that’s up for debate and will take time to prove out. Anecdotally, myself and everyone I’ve talked to about Muse now struggle to find reasons to use it regularly
I think Muse monetization will probably turn guilty of being a disappointment until it’s proven otherwise, which could take a very long time
Not to mention the equity issuance overhang and not providing FY27 revenue guidance leaves even more uncertainty. It’s been a great rally for Meta recently but I fear it could be headed back to the doghouse

$META: "In the near term, MUSE is very compute-intensive to run. But we expect to improve its cost-efficiency by more than 10x in the next year, which will enable it to be profitable once the revenue lines are at scale."

$META on Muse: "I think one of the biggest constraints so far is that because this is a compute-intensive service to run, we have not launched it globally yet."
Meta wants more compute, not less!
Zuck is planning to raise $875 billion?!
According to my robot that's the number where he would lose control without change of share structure.
fuck this guy
*META PLANS NONVOTING SHARES, EYEING MORE STOCK SALES: SEMAFOR
"The plan, which could be announced as soon as Wednesday when Meta reports quarterly earnings, will allow the company to issue new stock — for acquisitions, to lure top AI talent, and to pay for chips — without diluting Mark Zuckerberg’s control."
