One of the blockchain use cases I’m most interested in isn’t another memecoin.
It’s connecting blockchain infrastructure to assets and economic activity that already exist in the real world.
Real estate.
Credit.
Bonds.
Funds.
Commodities.
Financial instruments.
But I think the RWA conversation sometimes gets oversimplified into:
“Take an asset → create a token → done.”
That’s where the real conversation should START.
What does the token legally represent?
Who controls or holds the underlying asset?
How is ownership verified?
How are transfers and settlement handled?
What happens when something goes wrong offchain?
Where do regulation and compliance enter the picture?
That’s why I wanted this article to go beyond basic tokenization theory.

One thing I've learned from building in crypto is that using Web3 becomes a lot easier to understand once you stop looking only at the interface.
You click:
SWAP.
MINT.
APPROVE.
STAKE.
LEND.
But what's actually happening underneath that button?
In many blockchain ecosystems, smart contracts are a major part of the answer.
They're code—not magic—and understanding that distinction matters.
Smart contracts can automate rules and power everything from DeFi applications to NFTs and other Web3 experiences.
But code can also contain bugs, vulnerabilities, permissions, and risks.
That's why I think users should understand more than HOW to use Web3.
We should understand what we're interacting WITH.
