Phasmophobia tip: if you have perfect pitch, you can tell what level the EMF is at without looking at it! You just need to listen and identify the exact microtone. Here, I made this handy chart for reference!
ALT Musical notation for EMF Reader. A=443 Hz. Rest = EMF level 1 E♮ = EMF level 2 E⅛♯ = EMF level 3 E¼♯ = EMF level 4 E⅜♯ = EMF level 5
ALT A visualization of the EMF tones using Melodyne.

My first MAGFest was great! It was so cool to reconnect with the video game music community and meet up with friends, both old and new. Couple of shoutouts:
To the audience at the soapbox Saturday night who watched me play my music box, thank you! You've inspired me to do a real panel next time, just need to decide which: How to make a music box arrangement, how to prepare sheet music for players, or how to make a transcription?
