Jewish Federation of British Columbia mourns the tragic loss of four Canadian soldiers at CFB Wainwright. We are especially heartbroken by the loss of Aidan Goulding, z״l, of North Vancouver, a member of our Jewish community whose life was taken far too soon.
Our hearts are with their families, loved ones, fellow service members, and all those mourning this devastating loss. We stand in solidarity with the members of the Canadian Armed Forces whose service and sacrifice help keep Canadians safe every day.

As Vancouver begins a new chapter, we thank outgoing Mayor @KenSimCity for his service to our city.
We appreciate the opportunities we had to engage and work together on issues important to our community and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
Congratulations to @PtFry on your election as Vancouver's next mayor.
We look forward to working together to support a welcoming, inclusive, and vibrant city where all communities, including the Jewish community, can thrive.
Being safe and secure allows our institutions and organizations to focus on what we do best: supporting children, seniors, families, and Vancouverites from all backgrounds and walks of life.
We are profoundly saddened by the tragic loss of life at CFB Wainwright. Our hearts are with the families, friends, and fellow service members mourning their loved ones. May their memories be a blessing.
We wish those injured a full recovery and stand in solidarity with the CAF.
We are not the same people we were before October 7.
Across Israel, communities are reopening doors, returning home, and rebuilding.
Here in BC, we continue to support rebuilding in northern Israel.
