Adventureland was core to the original Disneyland; however, the best version of Adventureland is the one in Disneyland Paris. This video explores that version and details why Disney may build another Adventureland. Click on the link to watch the video.

This is the opportunity to complete the show by adding the show elements designed but never built.
🚨 The Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril attraction will close from January 4, 2027, for several months of work. Disneyland Paris specifies that this will be its most significant renovation since 1993.
What will be done:
- Temple rocks: some sections fully rebuilt
- Supporting structures, rails and walkways: thorough maintenance + replacement of guardrails and wood/metal cladding
- Sets: dismantled and fully restored at the Central Workshops
- Queue: wooden bridges rebuilt, staircase ornaments, campsite décor and off-road vehicle renovated
- Scenic lighting of the attraction, shop and area: projectors renewed and effects modernized
The goal is clear: to preserve the adventure for many more years and improve comfort for guests and Cast Members.
#Disneyland security should be a meaningful entrance because beyond security guests enter the park environment. It should be more than umbrellas and tents. More on YouTube.com/jimhshull
#Disneylandresort bag check is being rebuilt due to moving. It would be ‘good show’ to rebuild with theme architecture and solid buildings.
Not only does #Disneyland have survey markers in the park but the markers are signed with the “Disneyland” script.
One view of Walt Disney World is when it opened it was a world’s best roadside attraction. Orlando had them but #WDW was the biggest and most impactful. More on YouTube.com/jimhshull
IMHO #splashmountain in #WDW is the worst of the 3 built. Igneous rock work exterior, vertical mural covered walls interior and Br’er Frog narrator. As a fantasy critter ride in #TokyoDisneyland the ride works. More on YouTube.com/jimhshull
Odd that given the success of the two rides you mention that Disney who owns the I P hasn’t moved forward and built a ride or even a mini-land. Bluesky created Ice Age. Could that be the reason?
Replying to @JimShull
We don’t mind seeing an Ice Age at a Disney Park. There are currently 2 Ice Age dark rides that we know of and went on. One in Malaysia and another one in Indonesia (rode that last week)
Carousel of Progress at the 1964 World Fair was special. Note the covered queue. More on YouTube.com/jimhshull
Ice Age is owned by Disney and should be in the Disney Parks. A Ice Age ride would be an excellent addition to Disney Adventure World.
Hate or love is based on appreciation of good design or not. Function of the wand was to make a statement without consideration that the addition went against the idea of #Epcot
#TopicalAmerica will succeed moving #AnimalKingdom toward being a classic Disney Park, but will it lose its nature reality focused soul in the move? Does a fantasy based land belong in an animal park? More on YouTube.com/jimhshull
Goofy About Health was my first project as an #Imagineer and my first time to work alongside the Disney Legend #RollyCrump. Great idea for a pavilion featuring a range of attractions, rides, shows and interactive experiences.
On this day in 1989, Body Wars opened at EPCOT at the new Wonders of Life Pavilion. As the park's very first thrill ride, it used the same groundbreaking ATLAS motion-simulator technology that brought Star Tours to life.
Body Wars could carry 40 passengers in each of four 26-ton simulators and was a high-tech motion simulator ride at EPCOT that took guests on a thrilling, shrunken-down mission through the human bloodstream.
Also debuting on this day at the MetLife-sponsored pavilion is the theater show Cranium Command (a humorous presentation on the importance of the human brain) and the short films Goofy Over Health (a multimedia show about healthy living hosted by Goofy, using clips from his cartoons) and The Making of Me (about birth and life starring Martin Short).
