Dolores Huerta was a pioneer and one of the most influential leaders of our time. For over 70 years she dedicated her life to our community, created and supported multiple great organizations, was honored with many awards, and changed many lives.
I had met her before I started to get involved in community work long ago, and recently had the great honor of reconnecting with her to catch up.
