#FlashbackFriday That’s me backstage after my show at The Roxy Theatre in 1978, surrounded by four extraordinary women: Natalie Cole, Donna Summer, Joni Mitchell, and Chaka Khan!
What an incredible night and a memory I’ll always treasure. I was so fortunate to be in the company of such remarkable talent, each a legend in her own right.
I miss Natalie and Donna dearly. Both were taken from us far too soon, but their incredible voices, music, and legacies will live on forever.
Looking back, I realize just how special those moments really were. ❤️

U.S. top 20 for September 30, 1967. Second of four weeks at No. 1 for “The Letter.”
Also note “Reflections” at No. 5. One of the Supremes’ finest songs (and a personal favorite), it had been kept out of the top spot by “Ode to Billie Joe.”

Long Covid in het vragenuurtje, CQ support
