Throughout the month of November, @DukeEnergySC and the Duke Energy Foundation were proud to invest in our communities and help fight food insecurity right here in Greenville and across South Carolina!
Through the “Powering Plates. Nourishing Neighbors” campaign, more than $500,000 was provided to nearly 70 organizations statewide, including $100,000 to support FoodShare South Carolina hubs in the Upstate.
Here in Greenville, we were proud to partner with @MillVillageFarm for the annual Yam Jam, bringing together more than 200 volunteers to pack thousands of pounds of sweet potatoes for families in need.
It’s about more than providing food — it’s about neighbors helping neighbors and making a meaningful difference in the communities we serve. ❤️

I had a wonderful morning serving alongside my @DukeEnergySC colleagues at the annual Yam Jam at Bon Secours Wellness Arena! 💜 Our Duke Energy volunteers packed more than 250 bags of yams, joining hundreds of community volunteers who came together to pack thousands of pounds of yams to help provide meals for families in need this holiday season.
Duke Energy was also proud to present a $100,000 contribution to help address food insecurity across our region.
It’s always rewarding to see what happens when a community comes together with a shared purpose. Grateful to work alongside colleagues who believe in giving back and making a difference right here at home! ❤️

Last week, I was proud to be part of Duke Energy’s Neighborhood Energy Saver Program in Spartanburg! It’s always rewarding to be out in our communities, connecting with residents and sharing resources that can make a real difference. Helping families save energy, lower their bills, and make their homes more comfortable is what community impact is all about! 💙⚡
While I am disappointed in how politics is evolving, it will never get so bad that I won’t vote. We are blessed to have that opportunity. #vote

Try sitting in the stands watching, not easy there either. #KeepPounding

This one hurts. Walter was a kind, humble and loving man…and a friend. He will be missed by so many. My dad is joined with his friend in heaven.
The game sucked but it was so cool watching Luke get his HOF Ring of Excellence. We also managed a pic with Riverboat Ron!

Friday the water heater decides it’s had enough so Saturday brings the plumber out to replace it. They did a great job and I’ll have hot water soon!
