Jobs Now has had a banner year!
DOJ has been getting millions in settlements from hidden PERM jobs we exposed - $5M from Instacart yesterday, over $3M from OpenAI in August, and JD Vance's fraud task force banning Microsoft & Adobe from the PERM process.
We are so excited to finally see action to protect American jobs for Americans!
We run the site on a shoe-string budget supported entirely by users. We have decided to finish our crowd-funding campaign this October- if you have been considering supporting our work, now is the time!
If we can raise $10k, this will fully fund Jobs Now through the end of the Trump administration.
On Halloween, we will be turning off our crowdfunding campaigns.

How on earth did this happen:
The Indian certificate authority (CA) eMudhra had one job (well, two):
1. Create secure, 384-bit private keys
2. Store these securely and do not leak them
Well, eMudhra chose private keys between 1 and 256 (the numbers!!) and called it a day. WTF
Everyone from big tech to big banks to 7/11 corporate is discriminating against American job seekers
And we just have Harmeet, Andrea, and a handful of lawyers to fight back!

American workers: Did you apply for a job at Instacart—or see @Instacart's prior PERM job postings and feel deterred from applying?
Today's @USEEOC and @CivilRights $5 million settlement includes a $4 million claims fund for affected workers.
If you believe you were harmed by these hiring practices, email [email protected] so EEOC and DOJ can share your information with the claims administrator.
Please share this post to help reach other potentially affected workers.

🚨 $5 MILLION SETTLEMENT: EEOC and @TheJusticeDept secure major action against Instacart for allegedly discriminating against American workers.
The agencies found evidence that Instacart's PERM recruitment practices favored temporary visa holders and created unlawful barriers for U.S. and American workers applying for jobs.
Up to $4 million will be available for affected applicants, with an additional $1 million in civil penalties.

ALT EOC and DOJ secure $5 million joint settlement with Instacart for discriminating against U.S. workers. “Today’s settlement makes clear that when employers erect unlawful barriers that harm American workers, the EEOC will act decisively... Discrimination against workers based on their American national origin has no place in our economy,” said Andrea Lucas, chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

🚨 $5 MILLION SETTLEMENT: @USEEOC and @theJusticeDept @CivilRights secure major action against @Instacart for allegedly discriminating against American workers. Thank you to @AAGDhillon for your partnership in achieving this great result for a class of American workers, comprised of affected applicants and deterred applicants to Instacart.

We first published Instacart’s hidden jobs in California in April 2025
Then in August Instacart threatened to sue Jobs Now for promoting their hidden jobs, and we were forced to take their ads down
But we didn’t let them shut us up, and alerted Newsweek and The Hill to Instacarts discrimination
So happy to finally see justice for Americans job seekers Instacart unfairly discouraged from applying!
Another win for Harmeet!
Major win for protecting U.S. workers! Instacart has agreed to a $5 million settlement for discrimination during PERM recruitment. Thank you @andrealucasEEOC for your partnership in getting a great result and sending a message that this administration holds companies accountable.

And here is the article from the Hill exposing Instacart’s legal threats to us for exposing their hidden jobs:
Jobs Now has always claimed American citizens on average are smart, hard-working and qualified and just need a chance to demonstrate their worth.
Not surprisingly, proponents of H-1B and other worker replacement visas think the opposite!
We know who we want to support!

We are often told by open borders advocates that any issue Americans encounter in finding employment are simply “skill issues” (of course this reasoning is never extended to any other groups the Left favors) but even Ivy League PhDs in the hardest sciences can’t find jobs!
WSJ: A Princeton PhD in chemical engineering applied to 2,300 jobs, ranging from postdoctoral fellowships to corporate science jobs and software engineering positions. He still hasn’t found a job. 34% of Americans surveyed by Gallup in August said it was a good time to find a quality job.
Meanwhile, Congress is fixated on finding a way to pass a bill that staples green cards to any international student who earns a PhD in the United States.
We should start by asking why our own graduates can’t find jobs before importing more workers.

Amazing news! Now end the H-1B program entirely.
Pass my EXILE Act and put American workers first.
the same Global Mobility (immigration) specialist who is hiring a quant dev for Invesco in Chicago is also hiring this auditor in Georgia this week
Do you think Invesco is designing its national hiring process to avoid American job applicants?
We’ve been encouraging our followers to file charges with EEOC and DOJ IER, but we haven’t called out a key part of this process:
Patience
In the best of times, going through a legal investigation and settlement process is going to take months to a year+
Haven’t heard this context before but clearly there’s massive demand for EEOC to help fight the massive discrimination happening against Americans in the job market
We know Andrea and her team are working overtime to help everyone get justice. Have faith!
Let’s go Harmeet!
Over $1M in back pay for Americans discriminated against in tech hiring!
While DOL works on fixing the PERM rules to BAN HIDDEN JOBs- we are thankful Harmeet is leading the DOJ to get cash payback for Americans who lost out on jobs!
We just secured a settlement with Cloudera after it failed to treat U.S. workers fairly. We sued them in April and appreciate the resolution. All employers are on notice: conduct good-faith recruitment of U.S. workers — or face the consequences. @CivilRights will always defend the rights of U.S. workers!
