LTJ Fun Fact!
My focus on AAM goes much further than social media. Beyond the 1000s of research hours over the last 7 years, I worked at @flyBLADEnow from 2019-2022, working on air taxi ops around the 🇺🇸, MediMobility (now $SRTA), as well as Infrastructure development.

Dubai $JOBY Air Taxi Promo Alert.
Love the framing of Dubai as “a city that moves in three dimensions”
Hope more cities steal that tagline - and bring forward a safer future faster.
$JOBY Former Goldman Sachs equity research analyst Anthony Valentini who just lowballed JOBY stock for his new employer Barclays held only a 15% to 15.4% profitability success rate on tracked stock recommendations for 6 years at Goldman Sachs! Valentini’s average return was terrible. His failed record totaled -18.6% to -18.9% per rating! Consider the source of this offbeat downgrade. Bullish
$JOBY 👀 Don’t let one downgrade define the story.
Analyst opinions change, but the long-term thesis comes down to execution, technology, and commercialization.
The eVTOL race is still just getting started. 🚀

완벽히 동의 $JOBY
WHY $JOBY IS THE NEXT GREAT GROWTH OPPORTUNITY
The reason I think Joby may be one of the more overlooked mini monsters in the new economy is that the market still mostly values it as a speculative air taxi company waiting on FAA certification while the actual business is becoming much broader across electric aviation, autonomy, defense, AI driven airspace management and eventually regional hydrogen flight.
Joby already has 5 aircraft flying with another 12 in production while Toyota owns 10% of company and supports manufacturing, Blade gives it an existing passenger network and route infrastructure while Resonant adds a real defense platform across sensing, electronic warfare and autonomous aircraft.
The point is that Joby is no longer just betting on whether consumers will someday hail an eVTOL because its gradually assembling several pieces of an aviation platform that could monetize commercial mobility, defense and autonomy at the same time.
What makes the story much more interesting is that certification increasingly unlocks several businesses rather than just one, because once the S4 proves the electric vertical flight model works commercially, Joby can begin scaling air taxi operations, sell aircraft into markets willing to pay several million dollars per unit and redirect more engineering attention toward autonomous and defense variants.
The company is also integrating into the AI layer managing future airspace through its partnership with Air Space Intelligence, while its Superpilot autonomy work and hydrogen electric technology create longer term opportunities that extend well beyond short urban trips.
That is where I think the mini monster framing starts to make sense because Joby is trying to vertically integrate the aircraft, manufacturing, operating network, autonomy stack and customer experience in a way that looks much closer to a new transportation platform than a traditional aircraft manufacturer.
The market is discounting that optionality because the path there is extremely expensive, and that is the part investors cannot ignore since Joby is burning roughly $750M to $800M annually, its share count has already increased materially and new $750M ATM means dilution can continue while the company waits for certification and scales production which matters because same future revenue becomes less valuable per share every time more equity has to be issued at lower prices.
Blade and Resonant help because they create real revenue and reduce the sense that everything depends on one future launch date, but they do not come close to funding the current cash burn today, so the biggest near term question remains whether Joby can reach FAA certification and meaningful production quickly enough that capital needs begin falling before dilution overwhelms the upside.
That is ultimately why I think $JOBY is interesting again after the collapse in the stock because the market cap has moved back toward levels seen when commercial revenue was much further away, while today the company has real routes, real aircraft, defense revenue coming in through Resonant, Toyota manufacturing support and a clearer path toward passenger operations.
I would not call it de risked because FAA timing, production execution and financing can still completely change the per share outcome, but if certification lands in 2027 and manufacturing really moves toward dozens of aircraft annually, then Joby starts looking less like a science project and more like one of the few public companies sitting at the intersection of Physical AI, autonomous transportation, defense and next generation aviation.
That combination is why I think the market may be forgetting how large the opportunity can become if the company simply survives the capital intensive bridge from prototype to scaled operations.

Persistence pays off. $JOBY at SunTrax? I hesitated to post this (don't want anyone to get in trouble & don't want to preempt Joby), but it's been publicly posted by an employee of a local transport firm (one just needs to be obsessed with SunTrax to locate it :)
It appears it was posted within the last 18-36hrs. I also include SunTrax photos which I took on Saturday (yesterday) as part of my weekly SunTrax AAM construction series.
