NEWS: Multiple sources are saying that a group of Assembly Republicans left the Capitol mid-session to attend a fundraiser at the Madison Club hosted by Jobs First Coalition.
This comes as Assembly Democrats are working to force votes on two bills that have been blocked from a vote by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos — postpartum Medicaid expansion and Gail's Law, on breast cancer screenings.

Republicans are running back into the arms of the Governor after extremist members of their party were unwilling to compromise on the state budget.
If they can’t find reasonable members on their side, our doors are always open. We just hope they decide before it's too late.

Republicans just released their plan to gut @GovEvers budget so they can deliver a tax cut to their ultra wealthy donors.
We will fight back, and push for a budget that brings stability and lowers costs for all Wisconsinites.

Rep. Van Orden will be missing votes tomorrow and rescheduling his upcoming town hall due to a credible threat made against his wife, children, and grandchildren. The threat was delivered via a letter to his D.C. office and has been reported to the appropriate authorities.
No elected official, regardless of political party affiliation, should have to worry about the safety of their family while serving the American people. Threats of political violence are not just dangerous — they are anti-American.
This type of behavior is the direct result of increasingly radical and violent rhetoric fueled by far-left Democrats who encourage hatred rather than healthy discourse. It is a poison on our nation and every Member of Congress — Republican or Democrat — should fully condemn it when they see it.
The Congressman looks forward to returning to D.C. to do the job the people of Wisconsin’s Third District elected him to do.

Every Wisconsinite should be able to drink the water coming from their tap and trust that it's safe and clean.
But for about a year now, $125 million to address PFAS contamination statewide has been sitting in Madison because Republicans refuse to release it. That's wrong.

BIG news from @GovEvers today, approving legislation securing $15 million to stabilize healthcare access in the Chippewa Valley with improvements he made to add more flexibility to meet the healthcare access needs of the region, no matter what they may be.
“Recent hospital closures in Western Wisconsin have disrupted Wisconsinites’ ability to access basic, everyday healthcare services and uprooted the lives and livelihoods of hundreds of folks and their families,” said Gov. Evers. weau.com/2024/02/28/gov-ever…
