Really looking forward to bringing this fantastic music to the Kings Hall, Stoke in June.

This week we're looking back to 2021 🎶.
This was a rehearsal before we became the CSSO but we're still bringing musicians together to share our love of music ❤️.
Who has been following us since then?

@TheCSSO is Stoke-on-Trent’s orchestra, flying the flag for live music and championing the difference that it can make to people and place.
This evening’s Myths & Mysticism concert at the King’s Hall conducted by the scintillating @JoeHearson was orchestral poetry in motion.
From Mozart’s enchanting fairytalesque Overture to the Magic Flute, to Dvořák’s elegiacal The Noon Witch, Arnold Bax’s atmospheric Tintagel, and the beguiling, mood-varying finale’s recurring violin in Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade, this was a joyous evening of music.

I’ve had a really heartwarming and uplifting evening at the @NewVicTheatre watching their production of Big Big Sky by Tom Wells. Powerful and hard-hitting in places, but full of joy and life, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’ve got a free evening between now and 24th July.

The blossom outside Stoke Minster this morning. As much as we moan about the weather in this country, it’s nice to appreciate nature’s beauty when it shows itself! ☀️

A great weekend bringing our Out & About Festival to Hanley. From string quartets to brass dectets on Saturday to a full symphony orchestra IN THE POTTERIES CENTRE we have loved connecting with people in a really fun environment. The buzz around the city was electric!
It was a dream come true yesterday to conduct some of the music that made we want to become a musician in the very first place.
I’m so privileged to work with such first-rate musicians with the @TheCSSO and am immensely proud of what we’re building in the city.

Representing @TheCSSO at the Stoke-on-Trent Lord Mayor’s Charity Ball last night at the King’s Hall. Some great music from the Teachers Pet School of Rock tribute band (from Stoke!!) 🎸
