Affleck is another actor that was absolutely perfect as the character he was cast to be, but was failed by a terrible movie. Cavill (Superman), Garfield (Spider-Man), and Brolin (Jonah Hex) are other examples.

I love seeing posts like this. If the Snyderverse was so loved and successful then it would still be going. Yet it failed. Snyder failed, Ayers failed, Wan failed, Jenkins failed, Yan failed, Collet-Serra/The Rock failed, Muschietti failed, and Soto failed.

I’m seeing this a lot. Superman wasn’t raised on Krypton (unlike Kara). He doesn’t see himself as Kryptonian. He recognizes that it’s his heritage but Kal-El isn’t his name (to him), so he would refer to himself as Clark. #supergirl #comic #filmtwitter

I see stuff like this all the time. These folks obviously have never read comics. Other characters take up the mantle of established heroes all the time. The originals always return. Same for “dead” characters. They will always come back.
