Verizon's CEO said today that SpaceX will need at least 4-6 years and $300B-$500B to fully build out its @Starlink Mobile U.S. carrier network: "Their service just can't compete with a terrestrial network. In suburban and urban areas, where 98% of our revenues are, we're somewhere between 100x–1,000x more efficient than they are. We know exactly what they're going to do. We know who they're talking to on towers. There's no magic wand. There's no secret sauce. There's no shortcut. They're going to look at 65,000–80,000 macro sites. They're going to need backhaul, RAN, and a tremendous amount of spectrum. It's going to take a minimum of four to six years to fully build that out. It's going to cost hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars, I assume somewhere between $300 billion and $500 billion. Then they need to build retail, customer service, back office systems, et cetera. All of that gets them basically the same network and same capabilities and same cost structure as what we have today. Then sometime over the next four to six years, they have the possibility of becoming the sixth, not the fourth, the sixth competitor in the market. You can be sure over these next three to five years or six years, we are not going to be standing still. Four to five years from now, we will be two to three generations better than where we are today. We will have high-speed broadband gig-plus coverage across the country with our millimeter wave. We are ahead of most people and already experimenting with what 6G applications will look like." (via Verizon's Q3 earnings call earlier this morning)

This is a confession to treason. Elon Musk, a private individual and not an elected official, hijacked U.S. national defence policy to harm partner Ukraine and help enemy Russia. cbc.ca/news/world/ukraine-st…

Elon Musk is accusing Ukraine of using Starlink to carry out offensive drone strikes "to kill people," defending restrictions that disrupted Ukrainian military operations for more than a week. The SpaceX CEO claims Ukraine violated the satellite service's terms of use, insisting the technology was never intended to support offensive attacks. Musk also argues that SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any other private company, while warning that shutting off Starlink entirely would cause the country's front line to collapse. See what Musk says about the restrictions and who he claims controls them in the full story: foxnews.com/politics/ukraine…

Elon Musk just invested $1 BILLION in Skydance, the company that bought Warner Bros. Discovery and now controls CNN. I genuinely don’t think today could possibly get any better. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Elon Musk: Neuralink's Blindsight vision implant is coming soon "Even if somebody's completely blind, we can write directly to the visual cortex" The first version will offer low-resolution vision, but the long-term goal goes much further: "You would have very high resolution and be able to see multispectral wavelengths. You could see in infrared, ultraviolet, radar. It's like a superpower situation"

JUST IN: Elon Musk unveils the Tesla Roadster by launching it off a ramp before the car flipped in midair and safely landed on the ground. The car is a collaboration between Tesla and SpaceX. One of the most insane things I've ever seen.

🚨 ELON MUSK IN 2011 ON REUSABLE ROCKETS Elon said the key to making humanity multiplanetary is developing a fully and rapidly reusable orbit-class rocket. He explained it’s an extremely hard engineering challenge because Earth’s gravity makes it just barely possible. A bit lower and it would be easy. A bit higher and it would be impossible. For a long time he wasn’t sure it could be done, but in the year before this talk he became confident it was possible. SpaceX would try to achieve it. They had a design that worked in simulations, but they knew reality would be the final test. x.com/ElonClipsX/sta…

President Trump honors Elon Musk with the National Medal of Science during the Golden Age of American Innovation Summit, praising his contributions to American technology and scientific advancement. The recognition comes as Musk takes on a renewed advisory role in the Trump administration, including co-leading Project Meridian, a Pentagon initiative focused on the future of warfare and military technology.

They love showing you all the cool stuff they do, and their helipads and ballrooms, while you pay out the ass for everything. But don’t worry, they’re richer!!
What an amazing evening. My wife, Allison, and I joined President Trump as he hosted President Xi for a State Visit at the White House. The room was spectacular, the music was flawless, and the crowd was second to none. Great to see @elonmusk , @tim_cook and so many exceptional Americans.

Elon Musk is shaking the throne of global telecom companies with a historic decision that will end the traditional era of the internet forever! 🚨 A single Starlink subscription will cover your home internet (including the router) and your mobile phone directly from the satellite fleet in space.. no middlemen and no local networks! Goodbye to dead zones and coverage outages in any spot on planet Earth! 🧵👇

Introducing Starlink in Japan has become easier than ever before. In some areas, the initial cost for the home-use "Rental Mini Kit" is 0 yen. It can be installed quickly in most regions across Japan and delivers optimal performance anytime. Additionally, Japanese customer support is available not only before and after signup but also after you start using the service, so you can use it with peace of mind. For more details:

BREAKING: Elon Musk on Optimus, and a future where money may not matter in his new interview with CCTV: “If you think like Star Wars, where you had C-3PO and R2-D2, and they were friendly, helpful robots. Well, wouldn't it be great if everyone could have their own personal C-3PO R2-D2? But even better than that, like more productive. That could take care of elderly parents, guardian and watch over the children. Or be a teacher, like an individualized tutor to your child. And taking care of any jobs that you can think of. I think everyone would like to have a future where they can have their own personal robots. And then I think you'll see many companies where it's one person with hundreds, maybe thousands of robots. Like physical robots as well as digital robots. So the productivity of one person will be greatly amplified. And my prediction is that there will be effectively universal high income. In fact, it's not clear to me that money will even matter in the future.”

By 2030: AI surpasses the combined intelligence of all 8 billion humans. 1 billion robots handle every job nobody wants. And the wealth they generate gets distributed to everyone — not a survival stipend. Real money. Universal High Income. We're not waiting for a better world anymore. We're living in the last chapter of the old one. The most useless thing you can do right now is spend your mental energy on problems that technology is about to make completely irrelevant. x.com/MarsUniversity…
