We spent a chunk of the summer setting up the new Del Castillo lab, went to Yosemite to celebrate, and now we are ready to start the school year! @UCDPlantPath #NewPI

It was great to be part of the #Soilborne pathogens conference, get to meet colleagues and the interesting work they are doing. @Ruchiikashyap presented some of the work our lab is doing with Phytophthora detection.

It was amazing to see friends and colleagues for the first time in a couple of years, talk about science and agriculture. It was also an honor to be recipient of the Schroth faces of the future award and learn about other cool research projects! Thanks #PlantHealth2022
