We are launching the Tesla Robotaxi safety report today.
Till date, Robotaxi has driven a total of 3.3 million miles autonomously, and has had zero injuries nor airbag deployments. If the same number of miles were to be manually driven, we should expect roughly 9 injuries to the occupants or other pedestrians and 4 airbag deployments on average.
We will continue to transparently share our progress with the public using this page.

Verkehrsminister @SteffenBilger will sich für eine EU-weite Zulassung von Tesla FSD Supervised einsetzen!
Und noch wichtiger: Klappt das auf EU-Ebene nicht, müsse man darüber sprechen, „was man in Deutschland tun könne“.
Das wäre der Weg über Art. 39 Abs. 5, also genau so, wie es schon 7 Länder gemacht haben. Gültig dann nur in Deutschland 🇩🇪.
Ausgerechnet heute, wo der TCMV in Brüssel wieder nur diskutiert.
Gleichzeitig will das KBA laut Bundesregierung selbst einen Tesla erproben. Offen sind vor allem noch Tempo und Haftung.
Zum ersten Mal klingt das aus Berlin nach Rückenwind statt nach Bremse. 💯

🚨 ADAC testet Tesla FSD Supervised mit positivem Fazit!
Der ADAC ist zwei Stunden mit Tesla FSD Supervised durch Kopenhagen gefahren.
Das Fazit: beeinduckend.
✅ sehr sicheres Fahrgefühl
✅ natürliche Spurwechsel
✅ enge Straßen und Gegenverkehr
✅ zweispurige Kreisverkehre
Teilweise wirke es laut ADAC fast so, „als säße ein aufmerksamer Mensch am Steuer“.
Aber: Es gab auch klare Fehler – unter anderem Busspur, falsche Spurwahl und eine rote Ampel.
Trotzdem lautet das Fazit: FSD zeigt eindrucksvoll, wie leistungsfähig moderne Assistenzsysteme inzwischen sind.

I sent an open letter to the Dutch vehicle authority (RDW), the transport minister and MPs about FSD (Supervised).
Europe runs a version 6 months behind the US, monitoring is stricter than on Autopilot, and the rules push people back to manual driving.

Nieuwe technologie moet je kritisch opvolgen, maar ook eerlijk beoordelen op de cijfers.
En die zijn opvallend: buiten de snelweg ligt het ongevalsrisico met @teslaeurope FSD Supervised volgens de gerapporteerde data bijna 10 keer lager dan bij manueel rijden. Ook op de snelweg zien we een daling.
Verkeersveiligheid en innovatie kunnen perfect hand in hand gaan.

Elon and the Tesla team, as well as all of his other companies, have been breaking their asses off to engineer and distribute life-changing technology to people with disabilities, loss of independence due to age, or simply being someone who’s posting on TikTok while they should be driving.

I would love for you to explain to us why you dislike Elon so strongly and if you’re willing to learn about all of the things he’s doing to make my life and your life better than it would have been otherwise. Are you open to learning?

Während Europa noch über FSD-Zulassungen debattiert, ist in Hangzhou gerade etwas passiert, das man auf dem Radar haben sollte:
CaoCao Mobility betreibt seit dem 27. Juli 100 Robotaxis (eva Cab) komplett ohne Sicherheitspersonal an Bord... nur mit Fernüberwachungsplattform.
Die Roadmap dahinter:
📅 2027: Serienproduktion des eigens entwickelten "Eva Cab"
📅 2028: großflächiger Einsatz
📅 2030: 100.000 Robotaxis + 100.000 autonome Lieferwagen
Zum Vergleich: Tesla betreibt nach über einem Jahr Robotaxi-Betrieb rund 21 Fahrzeuge ohne Sicherheitsfahrer in 7 US-Metropolregionen.
Die Einordnung: Chinesische Anbieter planen in Größenordnungen, die im Westen niemand auf dem Zettel hat. Ob sie liefern, ist offen aber wer die Robotaxi-Zukunft nur als Tesla-vs-Waymo-Duell liest, übersieht den größten Spieler.

I’ve tried to warn them and even offered to license Tesla FSD, but they don’t want it! Crazy …
When legacy auto does occasionally reach out, they tepidly discuss implementing FSD for a tiny program in 5 years with unworkable requirements for Tesla, so pointless. 🤷♂️
