#CHELL2029 NYC MAYOR. NYPD Chief of Dept. (Ret). “Trusted NYC voice with operational experience and leadership credibility.” 🇺🇸💪

Joined October 2024
I’m a registered Independent—no party, no labels. Right down the middle. Call it purple if you want. To me, it’s simple: what’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong. I’m retired. I live a simple life. I don’t have to do this. But I love this city—and I gave nearly 32 years to it. So what’s another 8 if it means helping course-correct? Maybe this is a Hail Mary. I’m a wildcard. But I’ve got nothing to lose—and everything to gain for this great metropolis NYC. I won’t be controlled. I don’t subscribe to the status quo or political norms. That’s part of how we got here. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. And there’s never a wrong time to do the right thing. #Chell2029 @GOPStatenIsland @DemocratsSI @nypost @ViralNewsNYC @FoxNews @NEWSMAX @DrPhil

As the NYPD's former Chief of Department, I enthusiastically endorse Caroline Shinkle for U.S. Congress to represent New York's 12th Congressional District. Caroline Shinkle will always back the blue, and she will be a strong advocate for our men and women in law enforcement.  "Caroline Shinkle understands the importance of supporting and empowering our law enforcement to do their jobs and will fight against the coddle-the-criminal policies that endanger all of us." Let’s get this done NY-12 the change starts now. @TheRealCShinkle @nypost @NYPDnews @NYCPBA @sbanypd @lbanypd @NYCPDDEA @CeaNypd

Let’s cut to the chase. Clearly, these appear to have the hallmarks of migrants on scooters who were pushed out of Manhattan but have remained active in the Bronx. Violent illegal migrant criminals. As you have noticed, criminal migrants have become more prevalent lately. Why? Enforcement and public sentiment have diminished. Soft-on-crime DEMOCRATS. When they are caught, let’s see how many times they were arrested in the past and released back onto our streets. Let’s also see their immigration status and whether there were opportunities for ICE enforcement. Sanctuary city policies hurt New Yorkers—and, in this case, a NYC Detective. Get better soon brother. Our city continues to rot at its core, day after day at the hands of our democratic elected socialist officials. @NassauExec @GovKathyHochul @DHSgov @RealTomHoman
Help put these two savages behind bars where they belong.

A reminder for all of us -so here is a thought for today: “When bitterness takes over, it’s easy to focus on the faults of others instead of looking within.” Romans 2:1 | Matthew 7:3–5 | Ephesians 4:31 But remember: Yesterday is gone. Today is a new beginning. Be grateful, stay positive, and make the most of the day God has given you. 🙏 Have a great day….

This was powerful - God bless Mrs Friedman and her family. Rest in peace Andy.
“Andy was a very special person. He led with his heart.” Lisa Friedman Clark, who lost her husband on 9/11, honors her husband Andy and the legacy his family continues 25 years after his death.

The youth of America — what’s causing some of this despicable behavior? It starts at home: bad parenting and a lack of accountability. Add a school system too often afraid to enforce standards while promoting kids who can’t read. An education system that has become a breeding ground for socialists taught by anarchist teachers. A juvenile justice system that has lost credibility because consequences have become almost nonexistent. It’s not Johnny’s fault - society did it. Oh yes - go to college and study the melting habits glaciers and you will be rewarded with 250k job and a Central Park view. When this dream become a nightmare - dye your hair purple, stop showering and become a gamer in mommy’s basement. Then start spewing hate towards America. And somewhere along the way, competition became a dirty word. Ninth place gets celebrated, everybody gets a trophy, and after Junior exerts himself for 30 seconds straight, it’s time for Doritos and a soda during the timeout. This is how this video was born. This is the result of brainwashed kids in our school system. The wooden spoon or the belt should be in play here - old school! @FoxNews @NEWSMAX @NY1 @CNN @DrPhil
Farmington, Utah Students filmed themselves reenacting and dancing to Charlie Kirk's ass*ssination The video has since been deleted but I have a copy What’s going on at @DavisSchools ??

What a sad and difficult day for our country and for New York City — 25 years ago today. It truly hurts. Rest in peace to all those who lost their lives that day, to those we have lost in the years since, and, unfortunately, to those we will continue to lose because of the lasting effects of 9/11. We will never forget. We will never relent. And our country will never be stopped. Freedom and Strength 💪. 🇺🇸 Never Forget. 9/11/2001.
“We are the greatest country in the world, and we were under attack that day for who we are, our freedom ... We are the strongest, greatest nation in the world, and we will never, ever relent or be held back.” — Former NYPD Chief of Department John Chell on the resilience of Americans following the Sept. 11 attacks @JohnMChell @SharlaMcBride @Marc_Lotter

To the men and women of the NYPD, along with my old colleagues on the executive staff — keep this city safe this Labor Day weekend. Finish the summer strong. Keep yourselves safe. Hold the line. Watch your 6 and back each other up. Do what you do best — Protect and Serve. Remember you’re only as good as your last tour of duty. God bless you all. Miss you all! 🇺🇸💙……Strength and Honor. @NYPDPC @NYPDChiefOfDept @NYPDChiefPatrol @NYPDnews @NYCPBA @sbanypd @lbanypd @CeaNypd

Politics aside, our city and state need a cohesive, comprehensive plan to address the crisis of people suffering from serious mental illness on our streets. New Yorkers are dying. Our police officers cannot—and should not—be the answer to every mental-health crisis. Treatment, appropriate facilities, supportive housing, accountability, and public safety all have to be part of the solution. Please fix this. This cannot remain the norm. @GovKathyHochul @NassauExec @nypost @NYPDnews @NYPDPC @NY1
"The problem here is this has become the norm." Former NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell reacted to the mentally ill homeless woman stabbing two people in Times Square on Tuesday's "Bianca Across The Nation." @JohnMChell @SarahWNews @JohnHuddyTV

The father of a girl who was disabled in an accident from a truck — driven by an undocumented immigrant — tells lawmakers: "I reject your guys' sympathy to be honest with you. There's no way you guys are sorry."

It will never be personal or about identity politics. I don’t care who you are, what you are, or where you come from. New York is the greatest, most diverse city in the world, filled with outstanding people. I want to work with the best of NYC to make this metropolis make sense again. Meritocracy gets you to the table, but true grit will always win out. I appreciate that the Mayor is honest and transparent about his vision and that it’s rooted in socialism. I just completely disagree. Let’s debate policy, procedure, and results—and answer one question: How do we make this city better? Nothing is free in this world. The currency required to make this city work is accountability, hard work, and being a good citizen with a benevolent heart. That’s the standard. That’s the conversation I want to have. See you around the campus, everyone. Stay tuned…. @FoxNews @NEWSMAX @NY1 @DrPhil nypost.com/2026/08/22/us-new…

That’s me — a registered Independent. My supporters and friends will shake up the primary, and then we shock the world. Vote YES. @nypost @NEWSMAX @FoxNews @NY1 @CNN
Open primaries would almost, by definition, hurt Mamdani, which is why he opposes them and his critics support them. The hyper-partisan vote in any primary getting diluted by moderates, independents and cross-party voters isn’t typically beneficial to partisans.

People said, “Get involved.” I’m involved. At the end of this year, I will officially enter the 2029 race for Mayor of New York City. I have tremendous support, committed donors, and a loyal team ready to execute a strategy and a vision for a better New York City. I may be the worst kind of candidate for the political establishment: I have nothing to lose. I’m not running to start a political career. I’m running to fix a broken city. I’m not a politician, and I never will be. That gives me the freedom to be honest, say the quiet part out loud, and tell New Yorkers the truth—even when it’s uncomfortable. Too many elected officials are disingenuous and phony. They worry about the next election, the next endorsement, and protecting their political careers- spineless. Not me. I believe in straight-up honesty, common sense, and being a realist. A registered Independent. I will not submit to the supposed cultural and political norms or follow the same tired political playbooks. Those playbooks helped get us into this mess. So don’t bother trying to turn me into a traditional candidate. I can smell a phony a mile away. I’m a wild card—with recognition, a media platform, tremendous support, and a team ready to go. Better City. Better Life. Make NYC Sensible Again. @nypost @FoxNews @NEWSMAX @NYCCouncil @NY1 @nydems @NewYorkGOP

What this uninformed Democrat Socialist doesn’t understand is that when she advocates for people to steal, businesses eventually close up shop. When businesses close, the city loses tax revenue, jobs disappear, and the communities she claims to care about suffer. Emily — call Mark Levin and confirm that our city is facing a projected $22 billion deficit over the next three years. Sharp as a marble, that Emily. @MarkLevineNYC @EmilyAssembly
And you wonder why all the @CVSHealth and @Walgreens are closed/closing!

This I applaud and makes sense. We should double down on this and create an office of Fraud and Abuse. Give the money to people who need it and the scammers a jail cell. @SpeakerMenin @NYCCouncil
🚨 NEW: The New York City Council will pass legislation today to create the nation’s first Office of Insurance Affordability — protecting New Yorkers from predatory insurance practices and rising costs!

Here is a comprehensive review—ready? License. Registration. Insurance. Issue the appropriate moving summonses. If the facts support it, make the arrest for reckless driving and let the courts decide the consequences. See, @SpeakerMenin, it’s that easy. Your continuous virtue signaling wastes New Yorkers’ time and gets New Yorkers hurt. Do your job or just call the Police Commissioner- she knows how to handle this. @NYPDPC @NYPDnews @NYC_DOT @NYCCouncil
Every New Yorker deserves to move around our city freely and safely, regardless of how they get around. But too many people have been seriously injured or killed in crashes involving illegal e-bikes, e-motos, and e-scooters. That’s why the @NYCCouncil is launching a comprehensive review of where existing laws can be stronger enforced, and what additional solutions are needed to keep New Yorkers safe.
