I am the last person ever to receive a yellow card at Upton Park.
Played in a game the final day before demolition and got it giving away a penalty. The one remaining game that day passed without a card - so last ever name in the book at the old place was mine!
Irons ⚒️
I get that when playing a possession based approach, it’s good to have a keeper who is competent with his feet.
But call me old fashioned……I prefer a goalie who can actually save a shot once in a while.
Looking at alternatives to the stop/go shuffle down to Stratford
Does anyone ever use Hackney Wick Station after the game?
If so, how easy is it to get into and into a train?
Thanks
Went to an incredible wedding yesterday, and the reception was at the incredible Armoury House on City Road.
Amazing day.
Until they poured this!!! #ShitLondonGuinness

This is the joint effort from myself, @GeorgeW1912 Jim Grant and the media team at @WestHam looking forward to our work being on the big screen tomorrow and paying tribute to the big man.
Woth 3 forwards now on, we need to whip balls in the box.
Solomon cutting back inside will not but what we need.
Ausbo needs to come on before too long.
I was lucky enough to meet Billy Bonds on a number of occasions, and as a man, he was everything you’d imagine him to be.
A legend who we lost too soon. Happy 80th Bonzo!! ⚒️

Also I am adding a tifo of our ultras, you might want to see it. I don't think it would get all the way to England, our league is not as big.

Ludo Miklosko will always be in my all-time Hammers XI.
There was a time in the 90s when he felt superhuman. That afternoon at Upton Park in 95 - when he repelled everything that excellent United team threw at him - was one of them.
A giant of a man, who leaves an enormous legacy in Claret & Blue.
Heartbroken.
Ludo was my absolute hero growing up. I wanted to be just like him.
Years later I got to meet him, share a few beers with him and put to bed the myth of ‘never meeting your hero’s’.
Rest in Peace. ⚒️😢
An unashamed plug of this thread again - well worth a look if you want a trip down memory lane.
History of West Ham shirts, updated to include last seasons kits, plus this seasons outfield shirts
Based on a conversation with someone recently who’d lost track of the order of our different shirts, I hear-by present:
The Chronological History of @WestHam Kits
Homes, aways and 3rds with the odd gk short thrown in too! (Plus specials!)
Part One - 1900 to 1987.

After being lobbed on his own goal line against Watford today, it’s been said that Mads Hermansen “is not happy”
No? Well which of the 6 other fucking dwarfs is he then?
