7M+ Americans live with Alzheimer’s. Outdated Medicare rules delay the blood tests that catch it early. The bipartisan ASAP Act (H.R. 6130) opens a path to coverage. “Bear one another’s burdens.” Gal. 6:2 Read @JoinCEA President Margaret Iuculano: zurl.co/XLKDW

“America’s employers need the freedom to build a business, provide for families, and lead with the convictions that give their work purpose. Speaker Mike Johnson understands that religious liberty and economic freedom belong together. For Christian employers, those principles shape everyday decisions about hiring, healthcare, and serving their communities. “Over three demanding years, Speaker Johnson has brought faith, resolve, and steady leadership to one of Washington’s most difficult assignments. Christian Employers Alliance is grateful for his commitment to defending religious liberty, protecting life, and advancing policies that allow employers and working families to flourish. “The measure of leadership reaches beyond the votes secured in Washington to the freedoms preserved in workplaces across America. We congratulate Speaker Johnson on three years of service and urge continued leadership to ensure that every employer remains free to lead with conviction.” — Margaret Iuculano, President, Christian Employers Alliance

Religious freedom should be a promise employers can rely on. Yet Christian employers have had to go to court to defend the very freedom Congress acted to protect. As president of Christian Employers Alliance, this is at the heart of why I do this work. Before lawmakers vote, they should ask: Does this legislation protect the freedom to live and work according to our faith? Quick question for Christian business owners: is your handbook still running on a rule the Supreme Court threw out in 2023? 👇 In Groff v. DeJoy, the Court sided with a Christian mail carrier who wouldn’t work Sundays. Now an employer needs a substantial reason to deny a religious accommodation, not just an inconvenience. That protects your employees’ faith. And the same law protects yours. Our Resource Center walks through the whole process, step by step: zurl.co/D2EvE The fight over a request isn’t won in the hallway. It’s won in the file. A verbal yes or no leaves you with nothing. A written, dated decision leaves you with a defense. 👉 Sign the pledge: zurl.co/9bGBp 👉 Join CEA now: zurl.co/KYzRt

Picture two business owners. Same convictions. Same charge on the same day. One stands alone. Up to $300K in damages on the line, a legal bill that grows every month, and no idea how it ends. The other stands with CEA, and saw the threat coming months ago. Here’s what makes it urgent: the main federal law protecting Christian business owners is RFRA, and two bills in Congress are already written to gut it. CEA Action breaks them down here 👇 zurl.co/4nYbc The gap between those two paths is your entire livelihood. Pastors, ministry leaders, business mentors: this one’s for you. 🙏 You know business owners in your circle who are carrying more pressure than they let on. A complaint that seems built to force a policy change. A handbook they’re afraid to touch. Nobody to call. This article gives them five steps they can take this week 👇 zurl.co/LPwCY “You do not have to choose between your faith and your business. But you do have to be prepared to defend both.” Your voice reaches people we never will. Share this with one business owner today. 👉 Sign the pledge: zurl.co/KddRX

Your faith should never cost you access to banking. Christian employers need dependable financial services to pay employees, serve customers, and support their communities. They should be able to do that without compromising their religious convictions. In my latest op-ed for Lyceum, I explain why protecting religious freedom includes protecting access to the financial services businesses depend on. Washington makes the promises. Employers, workers, and families bear the costs. When government expands its control, the consequences reach into hiring decisions, employee benefits, healthcare choices, and the freedom to operate a business according to your faith. For Christian employers, economic freedom and religious freedom belong in the same conversation. Both shape our ability to create jobs, support families, and serve our neighbors. In my latest op-ed in DC Journal, I explain why the cost of socialism won’t stay in Washington and why Christian employers need a voice in this debate. On July 23, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice released updated religious liberty guidance, its first revision since 2017. The memorandum, issued by then - Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, reflects nine years of Supreme Court decisions and directs federal agencies to comply with the Constitution, the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA), and Title VII. For Christian employers, the question is practical: what does it change? zurl.co/A08ke #religiousliberty #christianemployers #faithandwork

You worship on Sunday. You lead your business Monday through Saturday. Does your faith make the trip? This week on the Restoration Starts Here blog 👇 zurl.co/zwMFZ Stewardship doesn’t stop at the church door. It walks into the boardroom, the hiring decision, and the voting booth. When Christians step back from civic life, that space doesn’t stay empty. Someone else fills it. “Sunday worship is where conviction is formed. The rest of the week is where it is lived.” Election Day is November 3. Read it, then stand with Christian business owners across America. 👉 Sign the pledge: zurl.co/aDWzT

You hire people. You write the handbook. You answer the accommodation request. Every one of those decisions goes on the record. There is no neutral record. "Targeted for Your Faith" on the Restoration Starts Here blog gives one instruction every Christian owner can act on this week: "Articulate your convictions. Put them in your employee handbook, your website, or your business's statement of values." zurl.co/qUiPp Silence is not neutrality. A file that never names your faith still says something about what you believe. The pressure works by making you police yourself first. The article answers it in five words: "Do not self-censor preemptively." Settle your convictions on paper while it is calm. Then add your name. Sign the pledge: zurl.co/b1zbN

Introducing a new series: "Before the Vote" by Margaret Iuculano. When lawmakers draft a bill, they ask about cost, who it helps, and whether it can pass. But there’s another question that too often waits until a lawsuit: What will this require a person or employer of faith to do? In Before the Vote, we’ll explore the religious freedom implications behind policy choices and what they could mean for everyday people of faith. Join the conversation, share your thoughts, and help illuminate how legislation could impact faith communities. #ReligiousFreedom #BeforeTheVote #PublicPolicy #Legislation

Can a bank refuse your business because of your faith? Under current law, the answer is yes -- and it's happening. CEA Action's 2026 Main Street Freedom Agenda tracks the federal legislation that would change that. The Fair Access to Banking Act (H.R. 987 / S. 401) would prohibit financial institutions from denying services to lawful businesses based on religious beliefs, ideology, or associations unrelated to legitimate financial risk. It also covers: The Prove It Act -- requiring federal agencies to actually justify regulatory burdens on small employers before imposing them BOI reporting relief -- permanent statutory protection against federal ownership surveillance of small businesses Association Health Plan reforms -- giving small Christian employers more affordable benefit options Small business lending reform -- reducing compliance barriers that make Main Street lending harder These aren't abstract policy debates. They are live bills in the 119th Congress -- and the lame duck session is one of the most likely windows for action. The 2026 CEA Policy Summit (November 30 through December 2, Washington, D.C.) is your front-row seat to what happens next. A government-controlled digital currency would give federal authorities real-time visibility into every paycheck you issue, every charitable gift you make, and every ministry expense you run. That's not hypothetical. That's the design. Congress is currently deciding whether to make the existing CBDC ban permanent -- or let it expire. That decision could happen in the lame duck session between Election Day and January. CEA Action's August 2026 policy brief on digital currency breaks it down: The GENIUS Act (already enacted) established a framework for private stablecoins -- a win for economic freedom The battle over a permanent CBDC ban is still active in the 119th Congress 12 bills are being tracked -- and the window to act is closing This is precisely the kind of legislation that moves fast when Congress is winding down and attention is elsewhere. The 2026 CEA Policy Summit -- November 30 through December 2 in Washington, D.C. -- is your briefing on what just happened and what comes next. Congress returns in November. So do we. The 2026 midterms could shift the balance of power on Capitol Hill -- and whatever happens on Election Day, the weeks that follow may be the most consequential of this Congress. Lame duck sessions move fast. Legislation that couldn't pass under normal scrutiny often gets rushed through in November and December, before the new Congress is seated in January. The 2026 CEA Policy Summit is scheduled for exactly that window. November 30 -- December 2 | Washington, D.C. This isn't a general conference. It's a targeted briefing for Christian employers on what just changed, what's at stake, and what you need to do before January. You'll leave knowing: What the election results mean for religious liberty protections Which lame duck provisions could affect faith-based hiring and workplace policy How to position your organization for the new Congress If there was ever a year not to miss this event, it's this one. A new federal law took effect in 2023. Is your organization still catching up? The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) created new obligations for employers -- including Christian nonprofits and ministries. And unlike some regulations, this one comes with real enforcement teeth. Here's what it requires: Reasonable accommodations for pregnancy, childbirth, and related conditions An interactive process with employees who request accommodations Written policies that reflect the new standard But here's what most HR advisors won't tell you: The PWFA explicitly preserves the religious organization exemption under Title VII. And courts have already blocked the EEOC from enforcing PWFA abortion and infertility accommodation provisions against faith-based employers. Your mission is protected. Your compliance process should reflect that. We built a free response checklist specifically for Christian employers navigating PWFA alongside your religious mission -- so you can meet the law's requirements without compromising your values. The EEOC just settled with a Christian employer group. Here's what that means for you. Earlier this week we shared our free guide on faith-based hiring rights. But the legal landscape is moving fast -- so here's one thing every Christian employer needs to know right now: You have the right to require a signed Statement of Faith from employees in mission-critical roles. Courts have upheld this repeatedly, and the recent EEOC settlement with CEA confirms that aggressive enforcement of ideological mandates has limits. Most HR firms won't walk you through this. We do.
