So excited for the Roland-Story boys on their big win at @IHSAA state tournament today!
Final in 2A: Roland-Story 60, Kuemper, Carroll 52. Norsemen advance to the #iahsbkb semifinals for the first time since 1977. Luke Patton leads Roland-Story with 25 points and 22 boards.

I’ve seen 18 teams play in the past week - 8 in the Big East, 8 in the Big Ten as well as Duke and UNC.
The most impressive?
The Iowa Hawkeyes.
Maybe there’s more to life than football…

One of the most important things I’ve learned in the hospital:
If your theology doesn’t work for the suffering, it doesn’t work at all. If it doesn’t matter at the end, it doesn’t matter now. The posturing, hatred, exclusion, semantics, debating, hierarchy: none of that was it.
True in the church as well! #GoHawks

Advent is when we remember that pain, sorrow, tragedy, and darkness are not out of place at Christmas.
They are the precise reason Christmas came.

Unbelievable.
Iowa (10-2) vs. Michigan (11-1) at 7pm Saturday on Fox.
With a win, Hawkeyes go to the Rose Bowl, at minimum.
God is on the move at @hope.elim! I m excited to dive deeper into some big dreams for our church and city and how to have hearts that explode with generosity! Worship at 9 or 11am with breakfast between! instagram.com/p/CWg936-A4Pv/…

Jesus followers: we have a wide-open runway right now to share our faith with people.
Every business is understaffed and every worker is getting the brunt of people’s impatience & frustration.
And we can be kind, smile, encourage, tip extra, and ask how we can pray for them.
Even as a Hawk fan, I must admit this is classy!
How classy is Iowa State coach Matt Campbell? He sought out Spencer Sanders during the field storming to tell him how excellent he played. He also helped him get out of the madness. Then took the time to good game Mike Gundy. #OKState #iowastate
