Giving nurses the pay increase they're calling for would cost around £1.8 billion per year.
Scrapping the non-dom tax avoidance scheme used by the super-rich would raise much more - around £3.2 billion per year.
The Tory refusal to pay nurses properly is a political choice.

The Tories gave nurses a £1,400 pay rise at the same time as reintroducing car parking fees of £1,300 per year.
Those same Tory MPs gave themselves a £2,200 pay rise and get their car parking for free.
You couldn’t make it up.

Tory MP @danny__kruger claimed £3,598 on expenses for his utility bill last year.
This was the highest claim by any MP to cover their bills in such a short duration.

The largest private providers of children’s homes are charging councils an average of £3,830 a week per child and pocketing an average 23% of that as profit. That's something to think about. No one should be getting rich from vulnerable children and young people.
