ok so piecing together random bits of info, this is my guess on the whole starlink/starshield and Ukraine situation:
Ukraine hitting oil assets in Russia while Trump is trying to win midterms.
Musk realises Ukraine are using either starlink or starshield to do this.
Tells Trump what he suspects is going on (see that whole mainstream news thing about it being elons "plan")
Trump alerts pentagon or whoever to ensure they're not using starshield for these targets as per the agreement for using starshield.
Musk looks at starlink and enforces the restriction on it working on fast moving assets and in regions it's not meant to be used in. it is, after all meant to be a civilian resource.
Stuff stops working properly in Ukraine because they have been using these systems inappropriately.
Z kicks up a fuss.
