Weekly work participation verification at scale is coming. If states treat it as a documentation problem, we’ll get churn and a paperwork cliff. There’s a smarter path: auditable, low-friction participation signals + real skill-building. My new op-ed: govloop.com/community/blog/w…

This seems like a…not great idea.
News from @sfstandard: SF mayor Daniel Lurie taps Lauren Powell Jobs and Google's Ruth Porat to chair a CEO supergroup to advise him on policy. Members include Sam Altman, Marc Benioff, Richard Dickson (Gap), Michelle Gass (Levi's), Tony Xu, and 20 others. sfstandard.com/2025/03/17/lu…

Are there worse companies than @MOHELA out there? @comcast? @AirFranceFR? @PGE4Me? Terrible customer service on a consistent basis is hard to do. But @MOHELA seems to have found the right combination of incompetence. Excited to read about their next class action lawsuit.

Out of all of Jed Hoyer’s bad moves as president of the @Cubs, non-tendering Kyle Schwarber will go down as the worst. Terrible move by a terrible executive. And fans will never forgive him or his frugal lame boss Tom Ricketts for making that mistake. #MakeTheCubsGreatAgain

Rather than relying on GenAI as a basic query tool, public sector leaders should consider using GenAI as a thought partner. Read more about how to do this, and the @coursera courses that can help, in my new @GovLoop op-ed: govloop.com/community/blog/t…

This team blows and is lucky they won. Even winning their first real series in a month feels terrible. What a self-inflicted mess Jed created.
OH THANK GOD. THE CUBS HELD ON AND ACTUALLY WON A SERIES. I am sweating and out of breath. It is 4:06 on a Wednesday in June.

Quick story about our experience with @airfrance today. We purchased tickets months ago for our flight from Paris back home. Get our boarding passes and sit in our seats only to find out another passenger has a ticket with same seats. Flight attendants don’t know what to do so /1

…to profusely apologize for aggressiveness of their colleague and tell me they will help me get refund for ticket. (@airfrance @AirFranceFR, I’m waiting for your customer support response). But let’s just say this was terrible customer service all around /4

Is it normal for your customers to purchase seats and for you all to book multiple passengers on the same seat, @airfrance?

Good. @MOHELA is the absolute worse. Terrible and inconsistent customer service. Hope they get the accountability they deserve.
There's no doubt about it: @MOHELA harmed millions of student loan borrowers, deflected their calls & still took millions from the Dept. of Education. I'm leading a growing number of Senators pushing @usedgov to hold MOHELA accountable.

The misery of being a Chicago sports fan @ChicagoBears

Ryan Poles’ honeymoon is over. So far he has shown he’s a terrible GM who has made many many costly mistakes in remaking this team. He deserves as much blame as anyone else on this shit team #disaster @ChicagoBears
