If the BC Conservatives win today’s provincial election, that means party members could effectively determine who becomes the next premier after British Columbians have already voted. Their track record is not good @VoteCentreBC

CentreBC leader Elenore Sturko says she already considers her party's election campaign a success, regardless of whether they win any seats on election day: “This was our opportunity to introduce ourselves to British Columbians and let them know that there is an alternative, that there is a centrist party.”

In the private sector, executives face consequences for going over budget. Politicians go over budget with no accountability. CentreBC will change that - if Cabinet Ministers miss budget targets, they lose part of their pay. Responsibility for debt belongs to those who create it.

Willoughby families have waited long enough. Friday, Elenore Sturko and Kyle Stevenson stood outside Walnut Grove Secondary and committed to 25,000 new permanent classroom seats by 2031. Fixing overcrowding at R.E. Mountain Secondary and across Langley is the priority. langleyadvancetimes.com/2026… Here's what else is in the plan: ✅Return to letter grades and written report cards ✅A threat assessment team in every district, working with police and mental health services, to keep schools safe ✅1,500 more education assistants ✅Dual-credit programs: high school students can earn apprenticeship hours in the trades or college credits toward nursing, a solid foundation for high-demand fields ✅Keeping class-size and class-composition limits in the teachers' contract, fully funded Let's get our kids out of portables and back into classrooms. Election day is October 24. Vote Kyle Stevenson, CentreBC, Langley-Walnut Grove. #BCpoli #BCelxn #Langley #CentreBC

Great morning at Organic Warehouse in Newton with CentreBC Leader Elenore Sturko and fellow candidates as we announced our plan to tackle the cost of living. (And yes, I had to get a picture with that wheat mill. Pretty cool machine!) People are working hard and still struggling to afford the basics. Here's how CentreBC will help: ✅ Cut income tax, saving a two-income family $540 a year ✅ Raise the renter's credit to $600, indexed to inflation ✅ Cap BC Hydro increases at inflation, never more than 3% ✅ 20,000 new $10-a-day childcare spaces by 2030 ✅ 15% back on transit passes and BC Ferries multi-trip fares Altogether, that's about $640 a year back for a typical two-income family. Advance voting runs until Oct. 21, and election day is Saturday, Oct. 24. #BCpoli #BCelxn #Langley #CentreBC

OneBC and BC Conservatives offer the same tired and toxic approach. @VoteCentreBC gives Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows voters a pragmatic, centrist option they can feel good about.
Attention federal Liberals in BC: Poilievre Conservative MP Marc Dalton is clear: “Lorne Doerksen has taken positions on issues important to many OneBC supporters, including DRIPA & SOGI…It’s public record that…I supported KLF, so I appreciate what you’re saying.”😳#bcpoli

Maple Ridge–Pitt Meadows: This is a close race, and every vote matters. The latest projection I found in this riding, dated October 15, puts the NDP at 48.5% and the BC Conservatives at 45.7%. OneBC is projected at 3.4% and CentreBC at 2.4%. There is no Green candidate in this riding. For voters whose priority is changing the government, these numbers raise an important question: could splitting the centre-right vote affect the outcome? To OneBC and CentreBC supporters in Maple Ridge–Pitt Meadows and across British Columbia, I ask you to consider voting for the candidate best positioned to defeat the NDP. In this riding, that means considering Doug Morneau and the BC Conservatives. Doug is a solid federal Conservative who serves on my Board, and I know he brings a business and financial background to the table. I know firsthand how consequential a close election can be. In 2017, after eight years as an MLA, I narrowly lost in what is now Maple Ridge East. I know that a few votes further to the right contributed to that outcome. The NDP subsequently formed government with Green support by one seat. British Columbia has experienced nearly a decade under a disastrous NDP government. Voters will have to decide whether they want to continue in that direction or choose a different path. I am not dismissing OneBC’s or CentreBC’s policies, or the people who support them. I know Susan Einarsson well, regard her as a friend, and appreciate the support she has shown me. Before she submitted her nomination papers, I urged her to reconsider running in this riding because of how competitive the race is. Lorne Doerksen has taken positions on issues important to many OneBC supporters, including DRIPA and SOGI. CentreBC voters may have their own priorities and concerns. There are differences among the parties, but voters should weigh those differences against their broader priorities for the province. The same consideration applies in every riding. If your priority is seeing the NDP out of government, look at the local numbers, the candidates, and the likelihood of each party winning. A vote for a OneBC or CenterBC may reflect your views, but in a close race it can also affect which major party forms government. I also saw a significant shift in Conservative voting federally. In the 2025 federal election, my vote increased by more than 10,000 and my share of the vote rose by about 10 percentage points compared with 2021. The People’s Party vote in Pitt Meadows–Maple Ridge fell from 5.3% in 2021 to 0.55% in 2025. I narrowly won. My appeal is simple: For those who want a change in Victoria, I encourage you to consider the BC Conservative candidate best positioned to win in your riding. Here in Maple Ridge–Pitt Meadows, I encourage you to consider Doug Morneau. Let’s give British Columbia the opportunity for a fresh start.

I voted at the advance poll in Steveston today at John Diefenbaker Elementary School at the end of the parkway that runs off Ransford Gate.I voted for Barry Wosk who lives a few blocks away from there and, like me, grew up in Steveston and attended Steveston High. He is a candidate for Centre BC. I am convinced he will be a more than competent MLA. I am a right of centre voter but could not support a parachuted in BC Conservative candidate. That party tried the same disrespectful trick last election and lost.Barry can win and my long experience tells me he will be a great MLA. #centreBC #bcelection #steveston #richmondsteveston #bcpoli #bcconservative

British Columbians deserve more than a choice between two political extremes. With so many voters still undecided, one thing is clear: people are looking for responsible leadership, fiscal accountability and a government focused on results. CentreBC is offering an alternative. Our fully costed platform outlines a pathway back to a balanced budget, while prioritizing the services and opportunities British Columbians depend on. Electing CentreBC MLAs means bringing a strong, independent voice to Victoria to hold the next government accountable. On October 24, vote CentreBC. Join our movement to make British Columbia the best place for people, investment and quality of life. Another bigoted Conservative candidate exposed. How many more bigots are hiding in plain sight and why is Lorne Doerkson selective in what type of hate he is willing to stand against?
Looks like Lorne Doerkson's candidate in Strathcona Jordan McIntosh thought he could use a nameless twitter account to say many awful, offensive things, including claims that Hitler didn't "specifically" hate jews and that the holocaust may not have been "the goal".
